Campus Housing: The dorm life at Arizona Christian University is decent. The second and third floors are "suites" that are shared between six people. There are half kitchens in every suite that don't include stoves, but have refrigerators, sinks and microwaves in every room. The first floors, however, are much nicer. Each room has a full kitchen, walk in closet, full bathroom and is shared between two people. Each lobby has a different function, but they are only open until 2am.

Academics: Business Administration – The school is extremely helpful. The professors and the head department chairs are always available to discuss your course plan. They provide tons of opportunities to attain internships or anything along those lines. The workload is decent; they really prepare you for your future career.

Transportation: Bring a Car – Phoenix busing is awesome because the streets are set up in an easy roadmap situation. If you need to get somewhere, chances are that a bus will be able to bring you right in front of the building. However, with the economy tumbling, the bus prices have gone up quite a bit. Therefore, I would recommend getting a vehicle while attending.

Off-Campus Housing: Wouldn't Suggest It – The only reason I would vote "no" with off-campus housing is that you have to be 22 to live off-campus without a parent, and it would be a little pricy. The area is just south of Scottsdale, and just north of a not-so-good part of downtown Phoenix. On-campus is probably the best choice. The suites are amazing and roomy, the beds are comfortable, and there are two showers in each room as well as a fridge, microwave oven, and a toaster. On-campus is affordable and feels like an apartment anyhow.

Facilities: General Compus Aesthetics – Arizona Christian University (formerly Southwestern College) has an amazing atmosphere all around. Being a smaller-scale school, the community is fantastic. No matter what, people are going to support you, uplift you, and push you to do your absolute best. The availability for places to study/computer space may be limited, but it's well worth it to attend the school. Also, the school is located in the heart of Phoenix. There is a mall ten minutes away, as well as many restaurants, and a gas station right up the road with the best prices in the area. Many discounts with the ACU student ID, too! Definite plus, and I would recommend this school to anyone!

Guys & Girls: It's Christian – The guys open the door for every girl and our complete gentleman. The girls are beautiful women of God. There are a lot of relationships that take place and weddings. Everyone has their different style here, which makes it all the more colorful.

Local Atmosphere: There Is a Mall – The greatest thing about this tiny school is that it is near a mall and a dollar store. That way we can get some shopping done.

Facilities: Library Needs to Be Read Into – The library has great computers, but it needs more variety of books. This school is small so I understand it is limited in capacity and funds.

Greek Life: Southwestern College (Arizona Christian University) does not have a Greek Life.

Nightlife: Southwestern College (Arizona Christian University) is a Christian university and therefore doesn't promote the bar/club scene.

Scholarships: You Barely Have to Lift a Finger – The financial aids at Southwestern College is so user friendly, that it is almost like the student doesn't have to do a thing. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with any questions the student has.

Local Atmosphere: Home Away from Home – Phoenix, Arizona is not only a wonderful place to live, but it also is a very entertaining and lively city. The people are friendly, and the local atmosphere is nothing but welcoming. Coming to Southwestern, now known as Arizona Christian University, is not only like coming to a home away from home, but it also like going on an adventure.

Drug Safety: Not Really Applicable – It's not very visible at all. There are some students who engage in this activity but since it is against the school policy it is very hidden and discouraged.

Campus Housing: I'd Never Live Off-Campus – Dorm life is really good. Being in such close community with other believers has truly helped me grow closer to God and learn a lot about myself. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime because of living on campus.

Overall Experience: Experience on Campus – As an Resident Assistant this year and Volleyball player, I have become very involved in the school and absolutely love it. The uniqueness of the small school community is awesome because it is fun to get to know majority of the people on a deeper level. The events that take place such as banquets, homecoming, or hall events is a good way to get people involved. If i had the choice to do it all over again, I definitely wouldn't change my decision.

Campus Strictness: Some people would say that the campus is strict but we see it in a different perspective. Because it is a small Christian college, their main goal is to hold everyone accountable for their actions. None of the rules are out of line or in place without a reason.

Athletics: Overall the sports here are fun to watch. Because it is a small college, getting to know people is very easy, so getting to watch them is very fun! Majority of students who live on campus attend games and get the crowds excited!

Facilities: Small School – Its a Christian school which promotes the Christian life. If you a person is not into that, it would be a very hard college experience. Its small, but has some perks. Teachers are open and welcome to discussion and start to know everybody by name.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Small Foods – There is a dining hall where meal plans are offered. There are only a few options for things to eat. Recommend getting a dorm room with a kitchen.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Use Common Sense – The campus is fairly safe. It is located in a part of Phoenix that is residential, and therefore there is crime that goes with the location. Keep doors locked and valuables hidden, other than that there is a safe feeling on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: Our school is so small that people just walk from class to class. We don't have buses or anything, and I didn't know people did that until I started this survey.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Christianity Is Everywhere – I go to a Christian college, so everyone believes the same thing. I love it because whenever someone has a problem or needs help, we can all set up a little prayer group and no one feels left out.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Christian Perspective – I came to Southwestern College because I wanted to learn more about Christ, the dorms were beautiful, and it had Music Education as a major. Whenever I'm going through a hard time, I know that I can talk to any of the teachers and they'll pray and help me through it.

4 College Senior

Computers: THe computers are really nice, they are easy to use and have the latest software
