Nightlife: The nightlife at our school for the most part seems pretty fun. There are no parties or bar/club scenes. Because it is a Christian college, it is a little difficult to find students who want to have a nightlife because some students have been super sheltered their entire life. None the less the night life is still fun and the activities are great.

College Senior

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus, I am a commuter. Although I do not live on campus, I do participate in a few students led activities on campus that have connected me with students who do live on campus. Dorms seem nice and social atmosphere is great! Cost seems very expensive.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: I think our school needs to stop raising tuition and spending the money on "free" Ipads for currently enrolled and incoming students. I think rather the tuition should not be raised, and if raised there should be more scholarships involved rather than free Ipads!

Parking: Doing the Best for What They Have. It's not currently a huge campus, though they use the space very efficiently. Parking fee's are cheap, but sometimes you have to park along the neighboring side street which is still very close to campus.

Weather: It's Phoenix AZ. Sunny all day every day! It does get very warm, but that has never effected any event or sport.

Athletics: Fast Growing Major Support – Just into into more NCAA stuff this year. Lots of scholarships towards athletes, transfers and freshman alike. Baseball, Basketball, and volleyball are the big ones right now, as they have the immediate facilities for those. Golf just took off this semester, and they are looking for more.

Guys & Girls: All Over – The guys and girls at are school are all over the map. You have jock guys who try and get with all the girls they can and these are most of the athletes. Then you have guys who don't care much for that and are there to find a Christ-loving wife. The same applies to the girls. Where it gets messy is how often people find themselves on both sides or in-between these to extremes.

Overall Experience: Love It...But – Love the school and what they are about. The teachers there are absolutely amazing for the most part and do a great job with students. One down side is that the school seems much more worried about growing in recognition and athletic stature then the students who actually attend the school.

Drug Safety: You'll Hear About It – ACU's drug/drinking problem is something you hear about, not something you see regularly. The most you hear about it comes from the athletes on campus who are engaged in that life style.

4 College Senior

Academics: You'll Actually Learn – Clasroom sizes are small which means that interaction is better with the professor. Workload is not overbearing because teachers make learning fun. The facilities are immaculate with everything centrally located.

Parking: Just Keep Looking – Since the university is quite small, the parking lot is bound to be small as well. The worst time to find a parking space is early morning at about 8:30am since that is the first class the majority of the students choose to take. If the driver does not get there fifteen minutes before, they will need to continue looking for other space.

Weather: Phoenix Sunshine...'Nuff Said – The weather in the Valley is gorgeous. It's warm all winter and outdoor activities are available all but a few days during the schoolyear. When it does rain, people go outside to dance in it because it is such a rare and exciting occasion. When the temperature hits the sixties, we all pull out our scarves and winter boots to wear with our t-shirts. It's the most beauitful place to go to school!

Off-Campus Dining: So Many Options! Arizona Christian University is close to many of the great and unique dining places in Phoenix. From authentic ethnic restaurants, to streetside cafes and every fast-food place out there, you'll never have to look hard for a good place to eat.

4 College Senior

Drug Safety: If It's Happening, It's Underground – There are strict no-drugs/no-drinking/no-smoking rules on-campus, so it is very controlled. I know some of these activities still take place, but when they are discovered, disciplinary action is taken and the students involved are provided with faculty accountability to stop these habits.

Local Atmosphere: Nice community with lots of different stores to go to

4 College Junior

Academics: I would say it is really cool to have suitemates that have the same major. Im excited.

4 College Junior

Facilities: there are quite a few places to go and do homework, but most of the time they are very packed because of the amount of students on campus. One downfall is that the library could use a face lift.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: the off-campus housing is very minimal, but there are apartment complexes right across/next to the school. I would definitely recommend the dorms on campus though.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: The dorms are definitely a great plus to this school! Very modern. Very clean. It was a enjoyable experience.

5 College Junior

Nightlife: There are a lot of options to do at night. Such as hall events, hanging out with friends etc.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: IT has been the best experience for me1 I love the enviornment1

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Decent Group of Students – This school is known for students getting married. Everyone is friendly and a good group of people. There are a good group of attractive people here who are mostly the athletes. But since it is a Christian School, there is more modesty involved. The social life can be a bit boring since there is only neighborhood surrounding the area but if one meets the right people, there is always fun around the corner.

1 College Junior

Computers: The internet is always having problems. The Wifi is almost never working. There are only about 10 computers in the computer lab, so finals time is really hard. We have a computer lab upstairs, but there are also classes going on.

2 College Junior

Diversity: This Is a Christian School – This is a Christian university, so if there are different orientations, beliefs, political stands, it causes a lot of tension between people as well as gossip.

3 College Junior

Academics: Teachers Care – Right now, I'm at Arizona Christian University, but I am transferring to Grand Canyon next semester. However, at ACU, since the classes are relatively small, a student will really feel like the teacher cares about him/ her and his/ her future. It is nice being able to simply email the teachers when in need, or to be able to talk to them after class.
