Majors: It is a very simple process. The summer going into my first year I filled out forms declaring my major and a couple of weeks before school was an orientation where you completed your schedule with an advisor. They had a recommended schedule already based on your major but you had the choice to make adjustments.

Local Atmosphere: It's in a nice area where there is a large mall nearby and also plenty of places to eat. It is in a nicer part of town where you feel safe.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking was improved as more space was opened up. It's free and no one is forced to park far from campus.

Health & Safety: It's a small campus that is safe and is in a low crime area.

Majors: The process of getting into my Music major was a breeze. I auditioned by singing a song I had prepared and took a written exam. They told me right after that I had made it into the Music program.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: To my knowledge there is no off-campus housing since they strongly encourage everyone to live on campus.

Diversity: There is some diversity at ACU, but not a lot. Mostly everyone is white and comes from the same background. Everyone is pretty similar on their religious beliefs since it is a Christian University, but we love and accept those who may not have the same belief system.

Campus Housing: Love the atmosphere, but cost is high like most colleges to live in dorms.

Facilities: The campus is small, because they started out small. Now that they've done a whole bunch of marketing and improvements, they have more students than the campus can really cater to. It's crowded in the library, and there aren't a ton of open quiet spaces inside to work on a laptop. If you have a dorm room you're okay, but commuters typically have to study off campus.

Majors: As an education major, I will be student teaching, which kind of acts as an internship in a sense. Student teachers are unpaid, but the time commitment can be just as rigorous as a regular paid teacher.

The variety of Majors here is limited, but the developed programs (The ones around before 2010) are good.

Health & Safety: There isn't any student health service on campus that I've ever even heard of. They have an athletic trainer where most of the athletes go, and the local kids go to their own doctors. I do know they charge a pretty lofty price on medical insurance for students on campus without an independent health plan though.

Campus Housing: Campus housing is extremely limited. the facilities themselves are nice, better than average dorms. It's great for a year to get socialized on campus, but loud freshman and kids up at all hours makes it hard to study in your own room at times.

Scholarships: They're so flooded with the influx of students, that they cannot process paperwork fast enough on their out of date systems. They'll be moving to Jenzebar this year, which was definitely paid for by raised tuition, room and board, and pretty much fees across the bar. Expect tuition to keep going up. Hopefully you won't have to wait 2.5 hours the first 3 weeks of school to see 1 of 2 financial advisers. Make appointments early, and keep checking.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I got a decent amount of aid, although most was achieved and found on my own beyond those the school offered directly. The scholarships thorough the school are varied, and unique compared to many other universities, especially if you happen to be an athlete in one of the sports offered.

Facilities: I love the look of campus. They have upgraded a lot around campus.

3 College Freshman

Computers: They are busy doing midterms and finals but I haven't seen them THAT busy other times during the semester.

3 College Freshman

Parking: I live on campus so parking for me isn't too bad. I just walk to class. but I do know that some of my friends have struggled to get a parking spot.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: So far loving living in the dorms. It's different than life back home but I'm happy to be living with new people.

College Freshman

Diversity: As far as I can tell we're pretty diverse but I only just starting going here.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I love the school. Its an amazing place to learn and grow!

2 College Senior

Nightlife: It is almost non existent, however it is not hard to find a group of people that consistently get together and make their own. Although the school polices behavior pretty strictly, students will always find a way to circumnavigate those rules.

Campus Strictness: Strict is an understatement. In being a private university, Arizona Christian has the freedom to police who you invite to your dorms, what pictures you put on your facebook, and the language you use.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Work very hard with a church or non profit organization to get sponsored in the form of scholarships. The school offers a decent amount of opportunities to pay for tuition this way.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: People are generally very kind and are just like any other college students. Most guys are athletes since the school is small yet it has many sports teams. Most girls are musicians for the same reason: it has several music programs. People from out of the state soon realize that in Arizona you must dress light so there are certain visual perks that come with this.

5 College Senior

Majors: I am in the Biblical Studies major at ACU. It is a phenomenal program and I am challenged every day not only at school, but also in social life with others because of what I have learned. Because this program has challenged me, I can now challenge others to think critically about relevant topics in our culture.
