4 College Junior

Online Courses: Class Structure – Well presented and documented. Professors explained well and took time to help me understand.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Im used to the college life so in those regards I cant complain, however I do feel as if the schooling is too expensive

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Something New – There is always something going on. Everything is posted on bulletin boards

2 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: The teachers are good but it seems as if the management has a lot more to learn about managing a university. Personal documents are sometimes lost or students arent registered in classes. Its unacceptable

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: There are computer labs but they are smaller than what I'm used. That being that I went to a larger university previously.

4 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Large Diversity – There is a large amount of diversity at Argosy Twin Cities. There are a large group or East Africans and SW Asian peoples. Furthermore the age and lifestyles are various which I believe is good for the learning environment.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school has multiple locations throughout the US. If you want answer about your financial aid you have to go the school to get the info because the turnaround time for a call back on the phone itn't very good.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school is very helpful on answering any questions I have about my classes.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Easy, depending on the courses taking, but a lot of annoying busy work.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Good Luck – The Dental Hygiene Program is definately a hard one to take and the workload is exhausting. But I love learning about it. Registering is a night mare though.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Argosy Over Charges – It costs $600/credit hour and a few of the teachers will do anything to get everyone to have an "A" and not really teach you. Some teachers are dinosaur age and are very monotone which make it difficult to learn from them.
Financial aid... good luck on getting help outside of the Sally Mae or Wells Fargo loan department. It seriously takes 6 months to receive a private student loan from anywhere else because of Argosy. Also, no one helps you on finding information for scholarships that you might qualify for. You really have to find them out for yourself.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: No Flexibility With Classes – All the classes are scheduled during the daytime, making it difficult to work to help pay off the tuition. Also, many classes are only available at a certain time, making this a difficult schedule to work around. Also, my credits from my previous university took forever to get through because the staff wasn't keeping up with their work and didn't even look at it.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: DMS Program – There are not a lot of schools that train for sonographers and this school does. It doesn't take a long time to finish the program but at the same time, the instructors could be more helpful and sympathetic to the students and actually have attended courses on how to be a teacher in oppose to having former students teach who have no real instructor training courses. Therefore making these instructors incapable of actually dealing well with students and being responsible. This was the only two year program school there was that had this program in state. I didn't want to attend a four year because it would take too long. I like that they expect the best out of the students and have high standards, but at the same time, there is no real application that would help a student actually learn well other then struggling to understand everything on their own and just taking the exams.

3 College Junior

Career Services: Networking with alumni, job career prospects, and post grades services are all set Perfectly just the way students can get an access without any problem. But since I am still a year away from my graduation, I won't be able to fully take advantage of these systems, I wont be able to evaluate fairly.

Academic Experience: Studying Radiographic Tech at Argosy – Since u have to learn lots of professional skills within so limited time, the workload is somewhat overwhelming and it' can get pretty stressful, especially if working while studying must be accompanied. But all these were just as I expected. Just knowing that the amount of time u put into studying will get u going!

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I completely believe that the education I am getting is worth the price I'm paying, though it is about 1 1/2 times as much as I was paying at the community college. the financial aid that is offered, and help with student finance is very good, but the processing times are rediculous, and I've never gotten my stipends on time (usually at least a week after I was told). I guess the biggest tip I have is to do your FAFSA the first day it is available, and check in often.

Student Body: Many of the students at my school are going back to college as adults. The classes in-school are mainly evening classes or 1/2 in-school and 1/2 online (blended format. I take online courses and many of my peers are parents or have full-time jobs that prevent them from learning in-school. My school is very diverse, anyone can attend (with the proper transcripts and qualifications of course) there are clubs and programs that meet many different academic and social needs. Students are also involved with work study, we have a student councelling center, a dental clinic and more to cater to the different majors. I feel that my school is very accepting and accomadating to all students.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Decent Flexibility by Teachers – My school has let me attend a full graduate program being 4 hours away from the school and has been pretty flexible and worked with me on assignments and classes so I can limit my drive to school to just 1 time a week.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Ok I Guess – A little expensive, but the schooling is great. Good value for books. I did not have financial aid.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Good Overall – I love the small classes
Great teachers
Working with animals a lot
Love it there

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: The Best Professor at Argosy – Lee Mockenhopt is the best teacher I have ever had. He understands everything he teaches and words stuff in a way that every one can grasp. He is very understanding of each student as well.
