4 College Junior

Online Courses: I am only taking one online class but it is reasonable, friendly, and full of knowledge

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am in the Veterinary Technology program at Argosy. They have a varied supply of animals in the kennels, an outside area for hanging with any animal you want, informative Animal Care courses, and outside corresponding volunteer opportunities

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: There are many aspects that make the tuition worth it. The course I am taking is very hands-on and they have many resources to give you experience in your course of study. Also, there is financial aid available and scholarships within the school

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have a nice library, student lounge career center, and an array of activities dependent upon your program

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have Wi-Fi and computer labs available

College Junior

Overall Experience: I've only been attending for a week

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They have a wide range of class availability: weekend, evening, days, hybrid, on-campus, online, blended... my credits were transferred in easily as they matched up perfectly.

4 College Junior

Facilities: They have a lot of different ways of helping out new students such as carpooling, they have deals with surrounding apartments, and a lot of the programs are prearranged in a do-able order and match-up of courses. They have fast track, online, blended, on-campus, and hybrid classes. A lot of options!

4 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone is friendly and helps each other out. There are no cliques or arrogance; everyone works together and accepts all.

Tuition & Financial Aid: When it comes to money nothing is easy or great, or even cheap. I have to pay for each semester I have finished before I can start my next semester. In doing so I decided to commute from home, and save money, but as we all know school is still expensive. I did receive some financial aid, and that was a great stepping stone for my first semester. The guidance counselors, and the financial aid office employees where very helpful, and very educated when it came to loans, and scholarships, and grants.

Academic Flexibility: Within my first semester I made new friends, to whom I have studied with on an almost regular basis, and have become good friends with some. The classes are flexible with younger, and older students attending, and there are classes all throughout the day.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I am more of a one-on-one student who would like to ask and show the questions that I have for my teacher, and its a little difficult to do that sometimes. For the most part I believe that my schools online courses are not as time consuming, and makes a student actually have to search for their own answers, as well as do their own work at home instead of copying another student.

5 College Junior

Facilities: My school is perfect for me, because I am going for my Associates degree in Radiation Therapy and not only am I taught that I am also trained to do X-Ray, MRI, and CT scanning as well, which is all included in my tuition. The teaching is great, classrooms are small, and its not a party school.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is very diverse and people are respectful of one another. It is great to see classes with people who just graduated high school and others who are well into their 50's. People seem to feel comfortable being themselves because everyone is very accepting.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: There are a variety of students in terms of age, experience, and background even in a small cohort. Diversity is quite accepted and a part of the curriculum.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The computer lab is always open when I need it. I don't like that students must bring their own paper to print from the computers. The network is reliable and fast most of the time.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The library has an extensive collection of valuable resources on campus and online. The student lounge is a great place to relax or study. There are several student-run organizations to get involved in.

College Freshman

Career Services: I have not utilized or heard about these services to give a sufficient response.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The doctoral clinical psychology program is extremely rigorous but completely worth it. It's a huge workload, but that's what I expected and what I signed up for so I'm not complaining. Students are well prepared for examinations and internships by going through this program.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is very high with little aid available. Then again, that's expected from a for-profit school. The high quality of the school is reflected the cost. The financial aid process can be a hassle. There are a lot of forms and appointments in the process and even the administration gets confused by it.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The professors are helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and want students to succeed. The academic rigor suits the needs of the program and students. The class registration process always has problems. The problems are usually resolved by contacting professors or the administration directly but it would be a lot easier if the online process worked in the first place.

5 College Junior

Career Services: The Career Services at Argosy University is great! They have job openings all over the Twin Cities for your specific field of study. I get emails once a week saying recent job postings. It is very helpful and easy to find a job through the Career Services.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I have never taken an online course until I started attending Argosy. The online courses are very straight forward and easy to understand. The navigation is very simple. The discussions are a great way to interact with other students. Every online course I have taken has been great. The professors are always there to help and if you have a question, they reply very fast. The workload tends to be a little higher because I have been taking the five week courses.

Campus Resources: So far while I have been attending Argosy University, I have not used the computer labs often. The one hassle about the computer lab is that we have to bring our own paper if we want to print something off. It makes sense so that paper is not wasted, but I do not have my own paper to bring.

Campus Resources: I would say there are two significantly unique feature about Argosy University. One is being able to deal with live animals for class. Many times, people learn things out of a textbook in a classroom. At Argosy, we get to have labs and demonstrate techniques we need to know on animals. Another unique feature is our SCNAVTA program. It is students coming together to do volunteer work around the community. I think SCNAVTA is very beneficial to students because it helps them do work for their community and meet great friends.
