Academic Experience: My Major – My major is education leadership, and I feel that the university is preparing me to advance in this area.

Academic Experience: The curriculum was challenging and prepared me for the field that I wish to pursue which is administration in education.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I Don't Start Until 08/02/2012 – I don't know the answer to that question yet because I don't start until August 2, 2012

Tuition & Financial Aid: Not Very Happy How It Is Set up – I don't like the fact that the school gives you eight classes for the entire year. I don't like that every class cost the same amount of money I thought every class was a different price.

Campus Resources: As an online student, the convenience of resources are remarkable. The resources of availability are as follows. (1)Respect and lenience of time restraints for submissions in the event of external factors with prior notification. (2) Counseling services to help with class/life anxiety. (3)Tutorial services for math and writing skills. (4) course load balancing (5) email, postal and phone contact information for staff & faculty. (6) All sorts of access to educational labs like Purdue Owl, APA, RefWorks, Pearson Learning Solutions, AUO Online Library, ProQuest, etc. (7) Digital Bookshelf is a plus which allows me to access my course reading requirements with ease and up to five years post graduation.

Student Body: AUO students are diverse, multi-cultural like-minded individuals whose personal lives consists of many genre from retirees, homemakers, industrial workers, military personnel, teachers, authors, disadvantaged, single, married and/or dating from as young as 18 and older. Each of us share the equivalence of focus towards the gain of a degree which will supplement our potential livelihoods. Most of my classmates have shown an intense desire towards learning with and from one another. The AUO policies on treating others with ethical respect, keeping the classroom forum for class discussions and providing us with a virtual student lounge helps us to balance classwork and socializing.

Career Services: Career Hopeful – My current GPA is 3.62 and although I have come across discrepancies with finances for tuition in light of aggregate loan limit maximization due to unforseen influences; My overall course experience with AUO has been phenomenal. I have received both a vast and enhanced knowledge on critical thinking, ethics, and focal areas of expertise in the psychological spectrum. I have looked into the post-grad opportunities via the school's career goals links. Consequently, the links were so informative on pay, interests, etc., down to the locale of choice for potential career, that it was of essential assistance to my narrowing down a major. The instructors have been responsive and on hand for the most part via phone, email and class thread interactions. AUO has revamped some of these areas to simplify contact with school officials which is another plus. As a mobility challenged person, the convenience of access to library, tutors, and numerous scholastic or academic resources is also advantageous! Perhaps I will have more to add after graduation within the next 8 months.

Campus Resources: The library is top notch and completely available online so I don't have to drive a long ways very often. There is a decent snack bar. Sadly, they merged their Starbucks service with the snackbar, so it is rarely open on weekends when I am on campus.

Career Services: Argosy Attempts to Appear Compassionate, but They Are Essentially Greedy. Sometimes the Internships Turn Into Jobs. There is really no Career Services at Argosy per se. They simply hope that the clinic one interns at during practicum will hire the student. If that doesn't happen, then one doesn't look to Argosy for help -- it's not there.

Campus Resources: There's Not Much Here Other Than the Classrooms! There used to be a store for Argosy collections, but that closed down, and wasn't replaced!

There's a little food cafe and a Starbuck's, but if you're not into that like myself, you probably wouldn't care.

There is a library, with a librarian who over communicates to all students of when the next webinar is. It's like an email from her once every week! There can't be that many who enroll in this school who doesn't know how to work an online library! Not to mention the quick search button on the e-library, that takes about seven clicks before you can get the article you need. So much for "quick search!"

Academic Experience: Blended Courses – I only care to attend school physically - so yes, I don't like online schooling - really not for me!

The blended courses consist of attending class, posting online discussions, and sending papers in online. It's ok, but I would rather be in the class more and turn papers in the traditional way, but that's me!

The downside of this is that it seems that you're doing most of the work online, and they offer very limited courses on campus, so if you're an on-campus student like myself, this kind of sucks!

Otherwise the work is challenging!

Academic Flexibility: Ease of Experience. All of my previous credits from my Bachelors degree transferred. The assistance I received from the Student Admit staff was very through and explanatory. Finance department was also very helpful in leading me to websites for scholarships. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Classes Are Interesting – I am returning to college in the fall of 2012 for my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The curriculum included everything that I was looking for in my chosen program which also includes internships and studies in assisting me to get my state license.. The workload is also what I expected for a Master of Arts degree.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Saving on Expenses – Argosy has a computer lab which gives the students a place to do reach, read their text books online and print off the necessary pages at no cost to the students. If a student has a personal laptop they may connect to the campus internet and use campus printers and paper.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Class Schedule Fits Busy Life Style – The student is able to interact with fellow students, read required study material and complete homework assignments and test online. Face-to-face with the professor is either one evening per week or one weekend per class, depending on your degree.

Academic Flexibility: Everything Transferred – The main reason that i chose this university is because I love their online program and the Christian classes they have. i like the flexiblity of the class schedules, the fact that they expext all of mt transfer credits. i love the way that the online team reach out to me that frist week of class to help me if i did not understand how to get into class

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Excellent Academics – The professors are very involved with the students and very enthusiastic about the subjects they teach. Curriculum is appropriate for the major and enlightening about the topic you wish to study. Registration is easy, though the workload can be a bit much at times. Online classes are available for those who wish to study while fulfilling other obligations. Argosy specializes in psychology and business, though they have recently expanded the curriculum to include arts majors.

Academic Experience: Impressed With Courses So Far. They faculty remain in contact with each student, openly engaging them in learning and supporting them when problems arise. The curriculum so far has been stimulating and I've found the course material both fascinating and applicable to my major. They also provide a lot of information about career opportunities in my field.

Because I am an online student I can take these courses at my leisure and work towards my degree even as I work a full-time job and support my thee children. Argosy University gives you that feeling of attending a distinguished University without having to spend time on a physical campus.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Academic Experience – I am working toward obtaining a MBA and my classroom experience has been wonderful. My courses have put me on track to reaching my goal of owning and successfully operating my own business.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Professor Involved – The Professors, and Instructors are involved in every daily discussion and interject fequently. They are very knowledgable of the particular subject matter, and provide great challenging discussions and assignments designed to help myself and fellow students understand and retain the information they are teaching.

Overall Experience: I Am Happy With My School – Although I am enrolled as an online student in a school that is 1000 of miles away, I feel very connected to the instructors, my fellow classmates, and school advisors. The atmosphere at Argosy University Online MBA program is amazing. The advisors really care about my future success, putting forth tramendous effort with helping me to succeed.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Both the Admissions Representative and the Financial Aid Offer included list of web site where I can apply for scholarships

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Happy With My Choice. Argosy offers the best curriculum that I was looking for.

1 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The cost per credit is way too high and the staff is hard to get hold of and they lie, had little knowledge of my case, i had to leave the school and go to another school that has way less of a cost per credit hours. Now I'm having trouble with them to release my founds.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My financial aid advisor was difficult to get a hold of, so I would usually call the academic advisor and then she would get a hold of them. When I was able to reach them they were very helpful and they got the job done. They were probably busy, but always very friendly and helpful once I did reach them.
