3 College Senior

Online Courses: I took online classes for the convience. Everything with the professors and the students was great. The peer-to-peer interaction was great. No complaints

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The whole experience as I try to weigh the positive's as well as the negatives truthfully the negatives outweigh the positives as When they say For Profit they really do mean FOR-PROFIT as my experience was as I had to withdraw due to continuing heart breaking nightmare can be proven trauma The lack of compassion still to this day as I keep getting those e-mails every month telling me about my past due balance only reminds me of their lack of compassion & common decency which I find rather appalling for a University that is supposed to be encouraging people to want to return to school.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I really was nervous when I 1st started. As I am not computer savvy as most. People fail to realize that not everyone has been using computers.
The relationships between student's/Professor's vary all depending whether it be on line or in a classroom. One does have a learning curve I know I did as I had not been in school in over 20 years. It is always good to have a good mix of people.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I really did like the mix of students. very diverse.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It all depends on the Instructor & how flexible they are.

5 College Freshman

Student Body: The student body is made up of a mixture of students of all ages. There are assignments that you are graded based on your responses and interaction with other students. It is awesome!

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The class assignments are easy to understand and the material is easy to apply to life. In fact, they teach you how to apply what you learn to your life. They also have a great LPA program.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I have 3 kids and a husband who works 60 hours a week. We are 5 people who live on one income, and my admissions counselor and members of my grad team made it easy to get back in school, with no out of pocket money immediately. One class at a time makes it easy to be in school with 3 young children. I have recommended Argosy to friends already!

4 College Senior

Student Body: My classes consist of a variety of people. Freshman, working-class, continuing education for career purposes, and full-time parents or homemakers. Everyone is trying to improve their lives in one way shape or form and it's cool because you can teach everyone something new and everyone can teach you something new. We really have interesting conversations.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: They offer a program that works with my work schedule, my four kids, and I can still attend college. I can actually pursue a career in the field I have always wanted. This school's faculty, representatives, coaches, and advisers are wonderful and help you with anything every step of the way. It's like having your very own cheer team cheering you on.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because I wanted a flexible schedule. I can do my work in between my personal and work life.

4 College Junior

Student Body: A majority of classmates do not have jobs and are trying to further their education.

Tuition & Financial Aid: In the application process I was assured I was not assigned to a class/course as I was sill debating between Argosy and another school. I was told to complete all the forms and application, MPN & fin aid forms, send over the transcript and unofficial transcript in order to be able to figure out financial aid and credit transfer. Before I was told what the final costs would be or the final determination of credit transferred I had 3 people calling me to help me with my first online course. I explained to each that the admissions adviser was supposed to get this information to me before I would choose the college and start classes. The Financial Aid adviser became rather rude and agitated when I said I had not made a decision yet and would not until all information was given. Everyone else was very nice, but he made me think of a pushy used car salesman, like all he cared about was a commission that he wanted to get. Really turned me off the school. Otherwise the others were pretty helpful in getting me enrolled as fast as they could, not sure if my interests were at the heart of it though.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The last school I went to was a campus private school. I am paying way less for a year at Argosy than I was paying for one semester at my last school. Plus, I'm able to hold down a good job to help pay along the way for it. The financial aid counselor was awesome! He found me 3,000 more in scholarships than we had originally planned for! There are so many people on your "team" helping you along the way. I definitely feel like I get my money's worth.

Student Body: All online courses make it difficult to make friends in any of your classes. Most of the people have careers and families outside of classes. Totally different life chapter than me. However, they are always friendly towards me and never seem to be rude. Even if you have to correct them, they don't seem to be offended. They are here to learn.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I think Argosy does an awesome job of offering ways to get help, like tutoring. The professors are usually quick to respond if I ever have a question. My advisor registers for my classes so I don't have to hassle with any process. The workload is great for someone who wants to have a job and a personal life outside of classes. It's very manageable.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far, I've been able to relate all of my classes back to my major. The workload isn't over the top, and I always feel like the examples are relatable to real life things. I like that I'm able to take twice as many classes as most students can without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, the extra credits mean I can graduate faster!

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: There are so many people that attend Argosy. I have saw people in some of my classes that are later in age than most people my age. The seems to care a great deal about accepting anyone that wants to further their education and to better themselves.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not yet graduated so I am not sure how these work. I have heard that the school helps you with your resume, and also helps you look for the type of job you want.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I gave Argosy's online classroom an A+ because it has the the needed information to complete each class. The teachers respond quickly to your questions. Being able to interact with everyone in class is always a plus, it helps to know what your peers think of your discussions. The class work is not to easy and not too hard, its perfect and I have great time management skills that I have gained since starting at Argosy University Online. Being a stay-at-home mom, Argosy's online program has allowed me to attain college and raise my daughter at the same time.

5 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: I was a bit apprehensive about taking online courses, due to the possibility of lacking educational experience. The instructors available and provided by Argosy are extremely professional and enjoyable to work with. It was an impressive opportunity to become educated through an online experience.

2 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: I had a previously chosen career, thus negating the need for this resource.

1 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial awards assisted with the educational process, but the administration behind these endeavors is lacking. Completely unprofessional and in need of educated and professional aide.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: Excellent course material and instructors. Extremely professional, yet the management within the finance and counseling departments leave much to be desired.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The credit transfer process went well especially considering it's been 35 years since I was in school. My academic/admissions councilor did a great job and worked with me to get the information they needed. Per my desire, she schedules classes to provide diversity going from one subject to the next. My Academic couch is awesome and totally invested in my success as a student.
