Campus Resources: The only facilities that we have on campus is the library, the computer lab, and the student lounge which are average.

Academic Experience: Classes in Forensic Psychology Are Exciting and Interesting – My master's program is Forensic Psychology, and this program is exceptionally interesting and exciting. You learn the entire breadth and depth of the subjects necessary to excel in this field.

Academic Experience: All of the Colleges Departments Interact Exceptionally. The professors are always available for one-on-one discussion, if needed. As stated in the title, the departments in the college interact exceptionally. When I call one department, they are typically aware of where I am, or my standing, in another department. This college is quite streamlined.

Campus Resources: Computer Lab – I like that our computer lab stays open until 12 midnight and the freedom to interact with others students that are in the same major as I.

Academic Flexibility: Transfer of Credit – Most of my classes trasferred in and if they did not transfer over into my major, they were transferred into an elective.

Student Body: Full Time Employees – The majority of the students who attend my school are full time employees and are a middle aged group of individuals. We are here to get our degrees, we interact very well and are like family. We believe in helping each other reach our goals and succeed in our classes.

Student Body: The students are very multicultural and range from late teens to middle age. There is a very comfortable mix of students and everyone is very friendly. In my major alone we have people from at least 2 different countries. We are a very small school so it's amazing the diversity we have given our size. Some of the students are full time students and do not work, some are parents, or full time workers, parents and students. It's really inspiring going to school with such a wide variety of culture and backgrounds.

Overall Experience: Experience at Argosy University – My overall experience has been really great. The location is really convenient to my apartment. The professors and staff are always available and very personable. With all the students they teach it's really nice to have them remember your name. The professors are by far the best part of going to Argosy Dallas. All are currently in practice which is really helpful. They are open and honest with what we will experience as we enter the work force. I have heard other counseling schools are very analytical in their approach and often times the professors have never been counselors themselves. Our professors are quite the opposite which is wonderful. I would choose my school again under one condition. CACREP certification would be great if they could get it.

Academic Flexibility: Argosy Dallas Flexibility – Argosy Dallas is extremely dedicated to the success of their students. The faculty and administration are very flexible and always willing to make time to speak with students. The professors are very open and give students real world advise. This is much appreciated especially since I am in a master's degree, the more advise I have the better. The classes are in accordance with the State requirements to obtain a license. The only frustration I have experienced is the online part of classes. I prefer to be face to face and turn in assignments by hand so I can ensure it was received by the deadline. Transferring credits was very easy.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid advisory team makes sure that all of your paperwork is in on time and sends massive emails and reminders to make sure you are eligible. Awesome team!

Campus Resources: Student Lounge – My university offers free coffee, tea, and cocoa to their students. It comes in handy when you need a pick me upper before and after class. There is also a television, computer desk, and all of the amenities of home.

Student Body: Variety of Students – Argosy is somewhat of a melting pot due to its location. There are a mixture of all nationalities, cultures, and races who mingle and work together to help each other understand and collectively pass each class. There are professionals, housewives, young athletes, and many other career students that attend in the evenings.

Student Body: one thing i love about argosy is it is very diverse, there are all types of races, and religious people. Diversity is key.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Finanical Aid – The school is really expensive. I dont think it should be so expensive but I feel that I say that because I dont have that money. I would say that the school's financial aid is awesome. She always contacted me with any and every information she needed right away. I am paying around 3 grand for an 8 week summer course, but they make it flexible and also, the best part for me was I had both classes one night a week so I was able to not let school interfere with my job.

Campus Resources: They are very good at interpersonal communication. They are all professionals, however, they talk to you so normal. I expected a "richy, rich" atmosphere but I like it. Its a nice campus, expenisve yet down to earth. Especially the people. I swear, its like they have a person assigned for EVERYTHING. If they need you, they contact you right away. Most of the time when I contact a staff memember or a teacher, I hear from them right away.

Career Services: Moving Forward – The school has recently relocated and is expanding their facilities. I notice on the student portal they talk about resume help and there is a sofware tutorial portal for Microsoft office. Have not completed my school but have not been made aware of any particular career services for the business side. The school has a strong background in health, psychology, ect and there may be career development in those areas that I am not aware of.

Online Courses: Get More Out of Your Online Class – Online courses require more work than traditional classrooms. There is no professor to raise your hand and ask questions or demonstrate how to do certain mathmatical functions. The student learns more.

It is very convenient because classroom materials are available 24/7 which does not confine the student to certain times of day. It allows for home/work/school balance. Courses require peers to comment and also allows access to each student if tutoring or questions are needed.

Academic Flexibility: Argosy Convenience – I am in the MBA program and started fresh so I did not have to worry about transferring credits. I like the fact the after each 15wk session which two courses can be complete there is a break of 2 weeks which prevents burnout. The classes are clear and easily understood. The professors in the online course are accessible they contact each student prior. The issue I have is with the e-books that some courses have available. They charge over $100 for these books and the student does not get to keep a copy of the book or have continued access. The university does not fully disclose that this fee is being charged.
