5 College Junior

Online Courses: The online courses are a challenge, however the professors make it to where you feel like you are in a classroom with the attention that is given and they truly do care how you are doing and try to involve everyone with the assignments.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: If it were not for online classes I would not be able to return to college and earn my degree. I love taking online classes and find it easy to access any time of the day I have time to do my work. So far I have had nothing but friendly, helpful and respectful instructors. I haven’t had any problems with an instructor helping me or listening to me and helping me find solutions. I think Argosy only hire instructors who truly care about their students.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I was really apprehensive about starting college again. I am trying to finish a degree I began over 30 years ago. I have had a rough start getting used to the tech end of things and learning to research in the online library, but the instructors have been very understanding of my technological ignorance. The commute is the best part and you can work in your pajamas. I like the fact that I am able to complete the class work around my schedule. Time management is a challenge at first, but once I got that part down, it went fairly well. The more comfortable I get with working online, the easier it has been. The classes are challenging and I know I interact in the discussions more than I ever did when I was on a college campus. The classes are generally much smaller which I think is a good thing.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I was frighten at first about taking online courses, but I have enjoyed my current experience. It was strange communicating online with people I did not know. I thought working a full time job, and going to school would be challenging. I have learned to prioritize my assignments, my time, and my work schedule that would benefit me getting my education.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I enjoy being able to work and study on my own time as I have a young child and he requires most of my time and energy. At first I struggled because I was less disciplined, but now I am finding it very easy to obtain a 3.8 or higher in my classes. You save money on gas by not commuting to a campus. You must learn time management which is essential to being successful in online classes. The only thing I miss is the community involvement and getting to know my peers and teachers on a more interpersonal basis. You can ask your online instructors anything, but it may take them awhile to get back to you. Nothing beats being in the classroom and being able to ask your professor questions on a specific subject while it is being covered.
