5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Wide variety of classes to choose from and they have many areas to get additional help in .

5 College Junior

Student Body: We are all here for the same purpose and that is to get an education and in the best way possible by working together and with others in all that we do.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The prices are about average and I have been told. I am almost out of financial aid so I am trying to get as many scholarships and grants as possible so that I may finish and get my career going so that I can help my two kids in their college experiences as well

5 College Junior

Facilities: If I were to choose to go to the on campus courses there are a large amount of options that are wonderful. However, I do online only so it really does not apply to me. The campus is beautiful and if I wanted to it would be very beneficial with what they have there.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Very positive and make it worth my while to put the effort into my work as well as having a very busy personal life.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: The online courses are a challenge, however the professors make it to where you feel like you are in a classroom with the attention that is given and they truly do care how you are doing and try to involve everyone with the assignments.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have an issue going on now with financial aid. They didn’t tell me I was even close to not having enough money to finish my Bachelor’s degree. I got a now advisor and they informed me I was OUT of money. This new advisor is going to see if they can help me with scholarships. I explained to them I cannot afford to have a balance with them and if I cannot get help I will have to drop out of school. I only have 5 classes to graduate too. I am so sad.

Online Courses: If it were not for online classes I would not be able to return to college and earn my degree. I love taking online classes and find it easy to access any time of the day I have time to do my work. So far I have had nothing but friendly, helpful and respectful instructors. I haven’t had any problems with an instructor helping me or listening to me and helping me find solutions. I think Argosy only hire instructors who truly care about their students.

Academic Flexibility: If we have a question for our instructor all we have to to is email them and most even give us a phone number to call. They post their schedules for us to know when they will be available. I have been happy so far with my experience at Argosy. Most if not all of my credits transferred over to their college.

Overall Experience: I would choose this college again and I have suggested the college to other people. I don’t like the number of advisors that I have but I do like the way the set up your classes for you and you can keep track of them yourself. You and keep tabs on your on progress and grades. And the most is I think I like how friendly everyone is. They seem to truly care about their students. After receiving my bachelor’s degree on May 7, 2014, I want to continue on with them to obtain my Master’s degree. I have no regrets attending this school.

Academic Experience: When I first called Argosy I was very nervous, but the person who I talked with seem to know what they were talking about and answered all my question. All of my courses transferred in which made me very happy. There was a miscommunication with my graduation date as I thought I would be graduation in 1 year but it has now been 2 ½. Over all I still like Argosy and am happy to be here. I feel like I have an advisor for every area, sometimes I feel like I have too many. As far as the Academic’s every class has the same system. Class starts on Thursday we post by Saturday respond to two other students on two different days and our big assignment is due that Wednesday before starting a new week . I like it a lot because every class is set up the same way and you learn the routine of it to where it kind of becomes automatic to the point you feel it if your forgot to do something.

Academic Experience: Something else I like about Argosy is the way they set up the class for you. You can decide what class you want to take or skip one but I have tried to just stick to what they advise me to do. That way I always felt like I was accomplishing something. I have never had a personality clash with an instructor and I feel like I have been going to Argosy long enough that I can tell how tough a teacher will be by the end of the first week. It tells me I have to work harder for that grade; this instructor is not going to just give it to me. I don’t mind working hard for my grades it makes me proud and feel like I accomplished something major on my list.

Student Body: I think all the instructors that I have had at argosy are very nice. I believe they have all put the students first and care deeply for their education. We can easily email or call them with any issue or problems we have and know they will answer. As far as diversity, I attend an online school and I am sure we have people from all types of cultures. Not once have I ever seen an issue with another student because of ethnic, economic, political, religious, or sexual background. I believe the instructors get respect because they show respect.

Career Services: I have recently decided to move on for a master's degree. Then i plan to find a better job. The school financial aid advisor recently informed me I was out of money for my student loan. This kind of upset me because it was the first time I was hearing about it and with only 5 more classes to obtain my bachelor’s degree I told them I would hate to have to quit school. I have a 3.93 GPA and unless I can get some scholarships to help with the fee, I will have to drop out of school. I am very disappointed in the school for not telling me sooner about this issue. I think this is an area where they can step it up for the students.

College Junior

Facilities: I am a full time worker, mother, wife so i must take my classes online.

Campus Resources: At Argosy they have thought of every way possible to make returning to school easy. We have a tutoring center, library access, our grade are accessible to us 24/7. Our advisors have fast turn around time when you contact them. There is a tab to find our balances and see our classes. I can't say enough good things about Argosy. They are so very friendly to me and always very helpful. Everything is easy access right there on the home page when you sign in.

Campus Resources: I am in the online program at Argosy. I have never had a problem accessing there web site. Loading time is almost instant. It saves on the frustration and spoils you when you have such perfection other sites become a bit annoying because they seem to be so slow.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Argosy's classroom and online technique is awesome. I have the option to stay at home and attend class once a week, but if I need to I have the option to come everyday and talk with my instructor with any issues I may have.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid department at Argosy is awesome. They gave me a lot of tips on applying for scholarships and grants for college, and went step by step to help with applying for loans. Bart was very helpful in reminding me that the more scholarships and grants I receive the less debt I will owe later.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I was really apprehensive about starting college again. I am trying to finish a degree I began over 30 years ago. I have had a rough start getting used to the tech end of things and learning to research in the online library, but the instructors have been very understanding of my technological ignorance. The commute is the best part and you can work in your pajamas. I like the fact that I am able to complete the class work around my schedule. Time management is a challenge at first, but once I got that part down, it went fairly well. The more comfortable I get with working online, the easier it has been. The classes are challenging and I know I interact in the discussions more than I ever did when I was on a college campus. The classes are generally much smaller which I think is a good thing.

College Senior

Campus Resources: I am an online student and do not have access to on campus facilities. I can say that the online system is maintained very well and I have not had any problems.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The entire process was rather painless. The financial counselor I had explained everything very well and walked me through the online applications for grants and financial aid i had available at the time. He continues to offer me options on possible scholarships and grants for which I can apply. When i had to go back and clarify some information for my government loan, he walked me through the site and made sure I got all the information to the right people. I have been extremely pleased with the assistance I have received.

Academic Flexibility: My experiences with Argosy University so far has been exceptional. I am very pleased with the response and academic abilities offered to me through this school

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have on commends about Argosy's Tuition & financial Aid program. Everyone's experience is different.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I have no words to add to Argosy's academic internships. Its a great experience at this point.
