Drug Safety: drugs aren't a big thing on campus. some people do it but it really isn't that serious.

Drug Safety: The school really cracks down on Drug usage. They don't go into extensive searches unless there is suspicion/reason to. They make you attend meetings and write you up and it's all very casual and fair. The policy is very strict and you must also realize that as adults many things are illegal so the punishment you get is dramatically less severe.

As far as stoners, they remain very low key. You'll stumble upon a few but only after you get a conversation going and they feel you out to be 'one of them'.

Alcohol is everywhere and you just have to not get caught which is easy enough. The number of incidents although not ignorable, are very few and no one is a sloppy mess.

People take all sorts of things to help them study or perform better. This is everywhere. Arcadia is no different.

Drug Safety: Some people drink and some people don't, there's not really a lot of pressure here to drink or do drugs. Most students don't get caught underage drinking or get in trouble for drug use. Usually if you get caught, you'll receive a warning from your RA or you'll be sent to AA meetings.

Drug Safety: They enforce first years to complete "alcohol.edu" in order to become aware with what can happen when using drugs.

Alcohol is the most popular drug to abuse. Drinking is not as big as at most schools, though, confined to mostly weekends. There aren't many places to have big parties at, so if people do drink, it's usually with a few friends. Marijuana is another big drug, but it's not a huge problem. Not many people get caught with anything other than alcohol, and drugs are not a big thing at Arcadia. Drugs are not a problem at Arcadia, and it is easy to stay away from them if you need to. There are always crazy stories about harder drugs on campus, but they are usually just rumors. Alcohol is the biggest drug, as with any college, but it has not caused too many problems.
