3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: If you miss like 3 classes you lose a letter grade... I pay for my class if I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go.

Campus Strictness: The school itself is not very strict. Smoking cigarettes is allowed anywhere on campus, drinking in dorms isn't allowed if your under 21, teachers can be strict with the cheating policy but it is like high school in regards to that.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: When it comes to certain issues such as bullying, underage drinking, the school is very strict.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Campus strictness is pretty average at Arcadia. When it comes to drinking and underage drinking, they are somewhat stricter, but they are only like that because they want to keep everyone safe. They send out a program called AlcoholEdu for everyone to complete their freshmen year, and that makes everyone more aware of drinking and the affects that it has on you. They are very strict when it comes to plagiarizing, if they catch you, you fail the class and have to get administrative action. They are strict on the meal plan as well. They make sure that you wait 4 hours between each swipe, make sure that whatever you are getting is on the meal plan and double check your order slip to make sure that you get what you asked for.

Campus Strictness: The honor code is very much in effect.

Public Safety has many different amenities on campus to help students feel safe. The first is the safety staff, which features Public Safety officers on patrol 24 hours a day. Another service is the emergency notification system which sends alerts to students and staff via e-mail and text messages. Plus, there are student desk receptionists that monitor who comes in and out of the residence halls during the evening hours. Whether a campus is set in an urban setting or in a rural one, there's always a chance that something can go wrong. The best way to stay safe on any campus is just to be smart and think before you do. One thing to remember is never walk alone in the dark. Campus escorts are available for walking to and from on-campus facilities at night.
