3 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have a frisbee golf corse on campus, swimming pool a and gym.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Nice campus very open and easy to get around. It is in a safe neighborhood and lots of places to eat a short drive away

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The professors are very ready to help with any questions you may have about the class. They have office hours posted and are abel to meet before and after lecture. The campus also has lots of help setup, such as: writting centers and student tutors.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I am not enrolled in any online courses at this time.

Online Courses: Online classes are a bad idea unless as a student you are very on top of your studies and disciplined in getting things done on time. It is very easy to procrastinate and let things fall behind. If online classes are your only option, then get a planner or organizer. Dedicate time every day to doing your homework/ reading. Do not slack off or be lazy, in the end it will catch up to you.

Academic Experience: I'm currently getting my Associate of Arts, it's basic classes for general studies. I wish I had done things a little differently in the classes i have taken and planned things out more carefully, but at the very least they all will count toward my degree. Overall the classes themselves are well put together and cohesive.

Overall Experience: Arapahoe Community is a good community school at a decent price. The teachers make themselves available for extra help, and genuinely seem to care about the students that make a veritable effort. There are almost always events going on, and other university representatives at the school so students can get information on the schools in the area. Although I do not have overwhelming school pride, I must say that I do like my school and glad I'm attending.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The problem is you can't reach anyone and it takes them days or weeks to respond. There message says 24 hours, this has never been the case it is usually a week later. The financial aid process is a hassle and it seems as though they suck you in with a great award and then you get nothing when you are already deep into getting a degree.

Campus Resources: I Have Been Very Happy With the School – The school is extremely helpful. It is hard to reach anyone on the phone and parking can be a pain, but for the most part I have had a good experience.

Online Courses: YOU Are in Control – I was unsure of how to operate the computer system used by the school ( I was comfortable with the one I had used when I was at CSU), but after learning it I found it easy to use. Online classes are up to the student. If you want to take a few days off your grade will reflect that choice. Stay on top of your assignments, do your reading and you will do well. You are in control of an online class. If you don't keep up your grade reflects it quickly. No one is there to tell you when something is due, what to read, or when an exam is scheduled. You are the one that is responsible for staying organized and aware.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great Teachers – I am happy with my school. They do a great job, I like the campus and the programs.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Overall Experiance – my overall experiance is pretty average at acc, because the school is a little small and the interaction between student are limited.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Not That Difficult – I just followed the proccess through, the financail aid office lady is very rude but other than that it wasn't very difficult.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Very Flexible – academic flexibility at acc is by far the best i've ever experienced.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: Personal Experience – Overall Arapahoe College is a small school with a wide array of very diverse and random people. It is better maintained than most community colleges, but some of the time there are some sketchy looking people hanging around.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Not Too Bad – Although I don't use any of the school resources for personal reasons, I have heard many positive accounts from students about the gymnasium and theatrical productions.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: Almost Everything Transfered – I chose ACC purely because of it's proximity to my home. I am however happy with my choice, since they offered flexible schedules and all the classes I've taken at the school are guaranteed transfer classes.

5 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Highly Recommendable School – I've enjoyed my tenure at ACC and am sad to see it approach an end, but am happy to receive my diploma in a few months. I would highly recommend ACC to anyone who is willing to attend a community college as a stepping stone towards a higher educeation.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I must say that the classes I have taken so far to me is everything that I was expecting in becoming a Mortician. I have not had a moment of where I did not want to get online and want to learn more about my major. I feel that I am gaining more and more knowledge everyday from Arapahoe.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Face to Face – I was nervous first starting out at Arapahoe just because I am from Kansas and did not know how everyone around reacts to what I might say in discussions. I speak my mind and I do not hold back what so ever. I feel that as time passed I was fitting right in with the ones that have grew up in Colorado their whole life. Now if I walked into an actual classroom I have no idea what I would do.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Get Everything Done as Quickly as Possible – I am getting my dream education for what I am paying. I wish that I had recieved more financial aid, though. I recieved less than half of my cost of tuition. Also I do wish that the class times were a little better to correlate, so that I am able to attend two full days as to the four partial days I am registered for.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: They're Good – The campus resources aare good theres nothing bad about them.

2 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Very Hard – Taking an online class is very hard to do, you have to be very motivated to do it on your own.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: All of the professors work with each other on everything the different areas of study are not the only courses taught by the teachers Some teachers will teach different subjects

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Campus Life – Campus life is great there is always something to do the staff is always involved with something and allows the students to participate sometimes for extra credit toward a grade. The shows and concerts put on to the school is amazing work and they always have some sort of activity going on weekly
