Academic Experience: The teachers really try to teach you only the best knowledge of their subject. They care about your future and try to support you in every way. They offer free tutoring for every subject and they have office hours if you need help with a subject. You can always ask questions and they will provide you the best answer. They are a great school!

Online Courses: It's insane that online courses cost around 3x as much as courses taken at the building. I understand they are more convenient, but they also don't require any of the college's physical resources. Exorbitant cost keeps me from taking online classes.

Campus Resources: I've never had a problem finding a computer to use. The only problem is logging into the network takes so long that you can feel your own hair grow.

Campus Resources: I am pleased with the resources at ACC. The academic resources are great. They have an amazing tutoring center that is FREE of charge for students. The library has amazing resources for just about any area of study. The athletic department offers a great rate for being able to use their facilities with great hours of operation. The online communication about the various student events is awesome, and there is always something going on. Just on Thursday they were giving students free cookies and cake for St. Patricks day...just nice little perks make it feel like a real community.

Online Courses: The cost of online classes is a bit higher, however a trade off for being in the privacy of my own home and more flexibility of when I chose to log in and do the work. Registration was a breeze. I thought the online format was great. It require dedicated participation. The more you log on and discuss, the more you feel like part of a real class. You are responsible for meeting the deadlines for work, so you are accountable for structuring your time. I always felt liKe I received attention from my instructor, through feedback in discussions or answering emails.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am very pleased with the the quality of education I am receiving for the cost. I had never attended a community college prior to attending Arapahoe Community College. I have been pleased with what I have received. As a single divorced mom in her 40's I was intimidated about returning to college. The school was more than willing to help advise me on how to proceed with my desire to gain admission to their Nursing program, what it would cost and how to use the financial aid department to help apply for benefits. They were also very helpful in making sure I met the deadline for subsequent years by sending reminders to my email address. I am thrilled with the teachers in my area of study. I feel that everyone at ACC is willing to help you succeed and wants you to succeed. I encourage anyone curious about financial aid to stop by that department and schedule an appointment with one of the advisors. Make a list of questions you might have to make your meeting more productive and most of all don't be scared! They are there to help.

Academic Experience: The Automotive program at ACC can sometimes be secluded from the rest of the school so it is hard to meet other people. The work load is little to none but be prepared to put in many hours because most who take the program go to school then go to their automotive job after or reversed they go to their job in the morning and then go to school at night. This way i have had money for tools even because i am able to work a 35 hour week and be a full time student with not much homework. Have to be very dedicated to automotive because your going to be going 5 days a week to learn about every aspect of cars. The shops at acc are awesome they always have new eqipment to learn on and most of the time your own shop wont have anything like it for years after they do!

Academic Experience: The instructors i have has in the automotive technology part of acc have been great i highly suggest this school to any one who is in Colorado and looking for an Automotive career. They will teach you every thing you need to know you can get a job through them and you know you will not be going to school with a bunch of druggies because they require for you to pass drug test both for school and work. The credits seem overwhelming but they are not since you have week or two week classes. this programs best feature is that it will give you an associates in applied science instead of a certificate like say from Wyotech or Lincon tec. or Pickens. And the best part is that it is an better education for a fraction of the price. I got lucky and chose the best school of them all! The credits you earn in the automotive program can also be transferred to C.S.U. Pueblo for an A.I.M.'S degree or an Automotive Industry Management degree. Just make sure to do credit checks along the way with your counselor!

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is fair for the education you receive here. The online this is if you choose to take online classes, be aware that some classes will add your books to your tuition. Also the online classes are much more expensive than the traditional classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The application process for aid was very easy. The financial aid department was available to answer questions. My application was processed very quickly and aid was disbursed in a timely fashion.

Student Body: Since I do distance learning I do not have any interaction with the student body.

Academic Experience: The course I take are challenging and the professors are very helpful and always available to help and answer questions

Academic Experience: I really enjoy this school and my current program. I appreciate being able to take my classes online and still be able to work full time.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It's very flexible especially if you have to work full time and go to school too

College Junior

Student Body: I don't pay attention to the student body activities much because my classes are off campus

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My academic experience has been exceptional. The professors, heck...all of the staff seem to take an interest. They pay attention to a student in need of some extra support, and give them the extra time, help, whatever they need to be successful. I have never seen anything like it, very impressive.

Academic Experience: It is quite challenging, but I enjoy it very much. There is a considerable amount of homework, which is understandable, considering what you need to learn and the minimal amount of time to complete it. The faculty at this institution is wonderful, helpful, and always willing to help you in any way they can. I love this place.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The reason I chose Arapahoe was because it was the only real college, not a trade college, that offers a physical therapy assistant program

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Have a wonderful variety in student backgrounds as some students are from different countries and range in ages from 16 to 60+.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: You have access to the gym, but it costs extra. Campus aesthetics is bad, the whole exterior is an ugly cement and the interior just looks and feels really old. Library is only two floors but only has enough equipment for one floor so you have a lot of wasted space

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Students can easily access computers in the library and print papers for. 05 cents or go to any English classroom and use a computer there and print for free. Would have been an A+ but connection speed is slow unless you are on your personal computer or tablet, in that case connection speed is good.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: It is a great school and easy to get questions answered.

5 College Freshman

Career Services: I have not taken that many classes, but the ones I have are great.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The writing center is very helpful. A paper which might otherwise receive a C can transform itself into an A if this resource is utalized. Being open as frequently as it is, opportunity to attend is provided for most all.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The book loans which are offered prior to financial aid distribution is really helpful. It seems class often starts before hand as well, and actually having the required materials is great. However, they do not inform the students up front about the money funding options that they have got, and in order to recieve a great deal of funding offered, the student must be aware of and request it. This, to me, seems curious.
