Parking: very good parking. small school so parking is open.

Majors: Sustainable Business is a wonderful program and Aquinas College is the only school in the country that currently offers it. The program takes ethical and sustainable values and does not just apply them to business, but uses them to recreate business in order to make it good for the employers, employees, the environment, and consumers. It is a challenging and difficult program; students typically struggle with two of the three areas of study, but success is definitely possible and a degree in the subject really pays off.

Drug Safety: Drug use seems to be about average when compared to other schools. The widespread nature of it is concealed fairly well by students who us. Alcohol consumption is more common than drug use, but typically does not happen on campus. Peer pressure isn't very high for either factor and the school's policies are strictly enforced whenever someone is caught in either case.

Scholarships: There are a lot of really good scholarships at Aquinas, however I feel that there could be more scholarships offered for non-music degree students.

Facilities: In my freshman year I was so busy I didn't really get a chance to be as big of a part of campus life as I wanted, but from what I know our facilities are very nice and are all pretty close so it isn't a hassle to get anywhere.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The professors are very passionate about what they do, I haven't met one yet who just seemed to be here because it just "their job". The work load is a little heavier than high school, which is a given, but it isn't so bad to the point where we cannot handle it. Popular study areas are by the ponds on nice days, or in the moose cafe.

Campus Housing: Campus housing is really nice. The rooms are upkept and it's fun having such a small campus because you can easily walk to a friends dorm or apartment in 5 minutes or less.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Transportation at school is pretty good. There are bus stops right outside of campus that are no more than a 5 minute walk from classes. I think it is free for AQ students to ride the bus which is helpful, not to me, but maybe for others.

Academics: There are a lot of great science professors at Aquinas. We do indoor labs, but also outdoor labs. It's nice to switch it up once in awhile. Every teacher is passionate about their subject and it makes it more fun to learn as a student.

Local Atmosphere: Grand Rapids is awesome; there is always something to do dowtown every night of the week. Eastown (East Grand Rapids) is a rougher area, but the cultural aspects are very interesting, such as the Farmer's Market.

Parking: sucks. i got stupid tickets. I heard campus safety makes a game out of who can get rid of their ticket slips first. (meaning trying to give more tickets than one another.) and its stupid theyre 50$ after 3.

Diversity: There is a wide range of diversity on campus. I think that is how Aquinas wants it, and I love it. I think it is awesome that my college appreciates people of all backgrounds, and they make it easy for people to become friends and mingle with people from other ethnicities.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: I wish there was more substudy classes for my major

Off-Campus Dining: Cool places near by. Car needed to really explore.

Scholarships: Everyone there practically has a scholarship. There is also a scholarship competition but if you don't win that, there are few loan options. But there are also other outside options after and during the year.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Housing and dorms are fine until you reach your junior year. I here a lot about how it isn't as important for upperclassman. I plan on moving off campus my Junior year.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: We have an impressive staff at Aquinas. All of our foreign language professors are native speakers of the language they teach, and we have professors who don't teach language and are from other countries! It offers a unique perspective on subjects that you wouldn't normally get.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Aquinas is definitely a wonderful place to be able to study. It's a small campus, and you know most of your graduating class within the first year! I believe this makes for a great community. If you want a little adventure, downtown Grand Rapids is just in the backyard. But if you prefer to stay on campus and study, there are plenty of quiet spots to choose from. I like to grab a coffee from the on-campus cafe- the Moose- and settle down on the lawn. Weather permitting, that is!

3 College Junior

Diversity: We have a rather white-dominated campus, but there are a few other races. I think that we are trying to be a more diverse, inclusive university, but so far it is still not too diverse.

Campus Dining: I am currently a senior at Aquinas, so I do not have a meal plan anymore. I think the food is average, just like one would find at any college cafeteria. I really do like the Moose cafe that is on campus, because it offers great hours and a fun study environment. I do think that the price is very expensive for the quality of food at the main cafeteria.

Majors: I absolutely love my English program at Aquinas College, but I am not such a fan of the Spanish program. The Women's Studies program, although rather tiny, is exceptional. If it were offered as a major, I would undoubtedly be a triple-major.

3 College Junior

Majors: I have not had an internship opportunity at Aquinas College yet.

4 College Junior

Majors: I had no difficulties deciding on my major, and I had a very helpful adviser who has helped me since my first year to schedule appropriate classes and manage a dual major and minor.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love the English and Women's Studies programs, but I am not at all pleased with the Spanish program. I have not enjoyed all of the professors in that program, and they seem very disorganized with student scheduling. Not all of the professors of the Spanish program are like this, but one can make it sour for the rest. I am very pleased with my decision to be a Spanish-major, but I would rather spend all my time abroad than be in the United States classroom setting with non-native speakers. I intend to go on to graduate school and pursue English with a focus on Feminist studies, and perhaps I will continue on for my doctorate. I would love to be a professor, or work with young children or mothers struggling. I have many ideas, but Aquinas' Women's Studies and English programs have offered so much support in my pursuit of the future and helped direct my focus very well.

Facilities: its an older college some building are outdated but it is used to maximum efffiencency and well maintained
