Facilities: Love the Campus – The campus is gorgeous, trees and flowers and grass everywhere, the soccer/LAX field is nice. Our field house is currently under construction. The library is really nice, the Music/Arts building has practice rooms open 24 hours, we have an on campus cafe that is also really nice and open until one in the morning.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Sustainable Business Program – A one of a kind program in sustainable business sets this school apart especially for those who are environmentally conscious

4 College Junior

Parking: No Problems – Aquinas has plenty of parking for commuters and on campus students alike.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I Like It – Aquinas will help me achieve a degree that will allow me to teach and coach. The staff has been helpful so far. I look forward to continuing my education to reach my dream to teach!

Local Atmosphere: More Rec Facilites and Better Housing. The campus is very pretty. It needs to have more athletic facilites and more places to live on campus.

Athletics: No Football – Sports at Aquinas are fun to watch and get into. Though we do not have a football team, we get very excited about soccer and lacrosse. Not many students go to sports games regularly, but they are always welcome to go.

Off-Campus Dining: East Town and Gaslight Village – About a block from Aquinas is East town. There is a very popular hot dog restaurant there called yesterdog which almost all students have been to. There is also Gaslight Village close by too. This also has many small shops and restaurants including olga's and a great ice cream place. Going here for food is very popular because it is close by. But down town Grand Rapids has most everything and you can find most any restaurant somewhere near by.

Facilities: Old and New Buildings – The facilities at Aquinas Collage are average though very beautiful. There is an old victorian mansion on the campus used for the main offices that was part of the old estate. The old carriage house that was part of this estate is now a cafe and common lounge area. It is a very popular hang out. Campus life holds many events there throughout the year like bands, comedians, or campus contests. Though there are very old buildings there are also quite modern buildings like our new library which is LEED certified.

Greek Life: Greek Is Not the Factor – Greek life does not have a serious effect. It doesnt even really exist at our college. You do your own thing and if you want to find stuff like that you can

Off-Campus Housing: Not as Sure – I havent had to deal with that yet. I heard its not too bad but your required to stay on campus for two years first before moving out. You just have to find a good partner.

Computers: Last Minute Cramming – The computer lab at Aquinas College are not normally full until finals. Thats the perfect time to have ur own lap top that way all that you have to do is print. Overall its not too bad

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Don't Be Stupid – There aren't a lot of drugs around, mostly smoking and drinking, but there were several drug busts and punishment for underage drinking and possession of alcohol.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Lounge Fun – If you're not really into the whole party scene, hanging out in one of the dorm lounges is a good alternative. There are pool tables and ping pong tables, and a TV for movies.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Life at Aquinas – People at Aquinas are friendly, it's an easy calm atmosphere with lots of grass, trees, and flowers. It's a small campus, you'll almost always run in to someone you know.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Fall/Spring Are Best – Early winter is usually the worst season since there is a good amount of snow from some lake effect with Lake Michigan, and winter can be pretty cold at times, but the campus in fall and winter is very beautiful with the leaves changing colors in the fall and all the flowers on the trails across campus blossoming often the last couple weeks of classes.

College Sophomore

Transportation: Campus Too Small – Besides the service provided by Campus Safety that will pick you up if you call and take you anywhere on campus after dark if you don't feel like walking, the campus can be traversed in a few minutes and there is no transportation around campus.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: If you are a commuter student there is plenty of parking. Freshman on campus with a car probably won't get a parking spot near their dorm unless they are in St. Joe's, but otherwise if you get a permit early you should be ok. A lot of parking is not really close to some desired buildings such as the Academic Building, but the whole campus is so small that it can be traversed in a few minutes.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: AQ DINING – The dining hall always has a good variety of options- usually burgers and fries, deli sandwiches, salad bar, pastas, and then the main entres which change daily. For the most part, you can usually find something you want to eat, but it justs geting boring after awhile. You also have flew cash to use in the coffee house, which has delicious coffees and sandwiches, There is also a deli place where you can get sandwiches, burgers, and salads, along with a small selection of grocery items. Overall, there a good assortment of meal options on campus that you cant complain about. It is just after awhile you wish you could have home cooked meals.

Diversity: Aquinas College does very well at accepting people of other races, beliefs, sexual orientation, etc. Although, it does not have very much diversity, especially when it comes to race.

4 College Senior

Academics: Wide Class Spectrum – As I looked through the needed requirements, I noticed that for the health or physical education class, you could take Tennis, or Yoga or more. It's the same through-out their entire class options.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Sometimes things happen in the city but not really around the school, Im used to it though.... I live downtown and we have shootings and robberies occassionally, no big deal

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Its My Hometown – It is my hometown, so I know where everything is and I can always go home on the weekends and hang out with my own friends, and go bowling or watch movies and just chill...

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Not All That Strict – The campus police are likely the only form of police around. The punishment for drinking is minor, and it is usually not such a big deal to be caught. It is fairly common to be written up by an RA, but the punishment is minor enough that this is not a huge deal.
