5 College Junior

Diversity: Appalachian is so open to any affiliation of gender, political, sexual and national orientation. Not only is it accepting, there are many activities around campus put on by clubs that challenge and make your beliefs stronger or change for the better

2 College Senior

Diversity: The school has mainly white students from diverse backgrounds.

3 College Junior

Diversity: very accepting of different types of groups

3 College Senior

Diversity: I've never really heard of any problems around campus.

3 College Senior

Diversity: I mean for being in the south there sure isn't much diversity. I certainly have friends from all different ethnicities, but campus is, for the majority, white. There seems to be a good amount of religious diversity, and political freedom of thought, but the conservative views of the old south definitely have a place here as well.
