College Sophomore

Athletics at Antioch University - New England: There are no sports teams or gyms.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety at Antioch University - New England: We do not have a student health center or campus security as we are a small graduate school. Students have access to their own insurance and doctors.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety at Antioch University - New England: All students are above the legal drinking age. There is no drinking on campus and there have not been violations.

Campus Strictness at Antioch University - New England: As a small graduate school, there are no dorms or campus police. Campus is only one building. As a dance/movement therapy student, we can get pretty loud, but the staff does not seem to mind or complain.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships at Antioch University - New England: Mainly loans, as there are few graduate scholarships offered by the school. I was able to get Federal Work Study and have been offered a significant amount of money.

5 College Sophomore

Academics at Antioch University - Midwest: Classes are taught by experienced instructors in their field of study. This makes a difference - and presents opportunities for connections and networking beyond the classroom. AUM is known for its Writers Workshops and Study Abroad Program; both of which puts it on the MAP

Academics at Antioch University - Midwest: AUM is a well known Liberal Arts university with a rich history. Known for its non-traditional approach to learning is a key fit for my style of being and learning. The curriculum is vigorous, text diverse and classroom interaction and discuss very enriching. The workload is strenuous, but not restrictive. Professors are willing to work with students demonstrating our success is the ultimate goal

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining at Antioch University - Midwest: non-existent. this is a non-tradiional commuter campus

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships at Antioch University - Midwest: I've had a great overall experience. School size makes the difference and the ease of which services were rendered, questions answered has made a difference for me, it is one of the best perks of attending a small school.

3 College Sophomore

Weather at Antioch University - Midwest: Its average for the area - because of small 2 lane highway to and from campus for some 3-5 miles inclement weather does affect commute and closings.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety at Antioch University - Midwest: There are currently no safety concerns on campus. From classmates to instructors there is a code of looking out for one another. Evening courses and even summer courses when we are last ones leaving campus we leave at same time and/or wait on one another. Security is highly visable Monday through Saturday when I have attended classes

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience at Antioch University - Midwest: I was told I was an Antiochian long before I attended. When I enrolled the pieces fit perfectly with minor adjustments to my life's schedule. From finding a Student worker position to supplement my income to discussing issues with my instructor/advisor

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining at Antioch University - Midwest: The campus is surrounded by several villages and suburbs. There is a 10 minute drive in several directions that range in dining choices which vary in price, cuisine, from mom and pop to chain. There is Yellow Springs, Fairborn, Beavercreek. Xenia and Dayton all within 5,10,15 minute range from campus which is inclusive of fairly large mall.
