2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I wish the school would give their student WiFi internet access for free but they charge all of us if we want internet I do not think this is fair because if we want internet we have to wait for computers.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online courses are not my preference I would personally like to be in a classroom interacting with students and teachers.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: I really enjoy the study spaces in the Health building. I do not; however, enjoy the fact some bathrooms are extremely modern and some have that feeling of the 1960s.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I took a class last semester online and I am taking another one next semester. They are pretty interesting. I can do the work at my own pace instead of having to wait for the lecture at school.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall, it is only as bad as your attitude towards it. I have many of my classes with my friends, scheduling isn't too hard and I enjoy most of the professors I have had. The Subway in the Health Building has one really good girl in there who always loads up my sandwich so that is big plus.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am going for an associates in Social and Behavioral Sciences hoping to transfer out. Overall they have enough diversity to make it interesting, but it could be much better.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Some professors are good, some are just down right terrible. What I really enjoy is the Honors society. The classes are smaller, more structured and give just that extra challenge I am looking for. I enjoy getting top priority with only having to maintain a 3.25. I have only had one teacher who gave 'too much' work, but it was a summer course.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Not sure only interacted to do school work nothing out side never met instructor

3 College Junior

Student Body: I'm not to familiar with this due to me being a single mother and working along with school

5 College Junior

Facilities: I like that we can have our own private study space or with a group without the extra added distractions

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Wish that the schedule was more flexible

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Not sure on this subject I don't qualify for financial aid outside of the big fee waiver which is excellent for me

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I enjoy my college the only thing I would change is to make sure that each subject is available for different hours as well

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: For my specific major I think the school is great with great professors that teach the subject

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors that I have had are truly interested in our learning, and being equipped for the working world with up to date knowledge that's out there, My school is over populated and at times hard to get the class that you need but if you are close to graduating they do give you a priority registration to get the class that you need, overall I enjoy going to my college

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I just signed up for my first online course to start in the Spring semester

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The facilities are average at AVC. Its an older campus but there are in the process of updating it and the renovations are nothing short of beautiful.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: The career center is so helpful whether you're looking for on-campus work, work study programs or job openings in your degree area.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have had an overall great experience at AVC. Great professors, solid learning, and awesome peer bonding.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is such a vast variety of student life on campus. There is a club for every personality type and interest.

College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any experience with this topic. I have no credits to transfer and no classes to shuffle yet.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the registration fees are outrageous at $46 a unit but that's the state's problem not the school's. Definitely apply for FASFA, the BOG waiver and ANY other financial aid you might qualify for.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The RCT program is wonderful and the only one within an hours drive.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The school desperately needs a second full size campus. Its overloaded with students trying to get classes they need for their degrees. The professors are amazing though, the workload is average, and the range of degree programs is awesome and far more vast than other semi-local schools.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: AVC has a range of options to choose from when it comes to campus resources. There are bulletin boards everywhere that display plenty of information. The student center is a resource gold mine. The athletic department will help you figure out anything you want to know about any and all things sports related on campus.
