2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: It's school has its positives and negatives. I have had a few teachers that were great, however, the headache that I face every semester with financial aid makes it almost not worth paying less for tuition. I have attended for four semesters now and have had to jump through several hoops each semester just to get the money that I was awarded for financial aid.

Campus Resources: The college is good, but there's a need for improving in a lot of departments and teachers. Advisors need to reach out more to their students when needed and departments need to be more organized.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors I have had are excellent and the information they teach is on par with major universities.

Academic Flexibility: Just Enrolled – I just enrolled at this school and registered for fall classes. The process has been decent, but I have had to make several trips to the school because processes and documents needed were not explained sufficiently to me.

College Junior

Career Services: Not Used Yet – I have not had a reason to use these services yet.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Every time I need to print something, there is always a printer to use. The network and wireless access are awesome and haven't given me any problems so far.

Student Body: The student body is very helpful, and the students are really nice as well. They are there to help you if you're lost, and they make sure that you have everything you need for your upcoming semester in college. I haven't really seen diversity because I talk to everyone and I haven't seen a single person shut someone out because they have different views.

College Junior

Online Courses: I never had an online class, but from other classmates and friends they tell me they are a little harder than traditional classes.

Academic Flexibility: My professor made it really easy for us to learn, he always took the time to help us if we were stuck on a problem. He also made us get familiar with our class mates so we never felt scared to ask others for help if we had problems. Staying after class, and coming before class were also things my professor would do. So overall my experience with AACC has been amazing, and I'm happy to be attending there in the fall again!

Online Courses: Angel is the system I have used and can be spotty at times.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I like the variety of class options online, weekends, nights.

5 College Junior

Career Services: The advisors are very helpful with setting you on the right path to transfer into a major university to complete your degree.

Academic Flexibility: The reason i picked this school is because the EMT program was reccommended and was scheduled prefectly to fit around my current job.

Campus Resources: One thing that I think set my school apart from other schools, is how open and diversified it is. It is the number one community college in the country and it takes great pride in it by providing great services and great academic prowess to it's students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The process is very good and efficient. The financial aid officers are very friendly and helpful. They provide good services and try their best to assist every student to the best of their ability. They explain the financial aid process very well, and do not leave anything out.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Submitting work is easy and teachers respond to qs right away.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The classes are small and the teachers are very friendly.

Online Courses: When I first began taking online classes I was very skeptical about the entire process. As my winter class began I realized that Online classes were just as effective as regular classes on campus. There was alot more work to be done but in the end I felt as if I learned just as much if not more information from the class compared to a face to face class.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is much cheaper compare to other community college in MD. Financial Aid is really good.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I love the scene and being in the county. Meeting new people are great cause last time I was there before taking a break I met many new friends some became my best friends.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Last time I was there before taking a break the computer network was good.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I am glad that I transfer to AACC from BCCC cause my experience with college is a lot better. The teachers are great and the classes have flexibility hours along with on-line classes.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I love the campus cause it is easy to get to by bus. The advisers are very helpful when it comes to planning out each semesters on what classes you need for your major.

Online Courses: I really enjoyed my online course for Special Education. It was fun learning from videos and being personally responsible for keeping in touch and communicating in a way that isn't typical for school. I liked learning through technology and it was a nice change in pace and atmosphere in comparison to a typical classroom setting! It was nice not having to drive to school, it was comfortable, and the learning was based solely on me. This helped with time management and working toward deadlines as well.

Student Body: As far as ethnic diversity, Anne Arundel Community College is probably 60% Caucasion, 20% African American, and 10% other.
