Facilities: I think AACC is a great campus because it offers so much at such little price. They make college affordable and help people to become motivated to reach their dreams. From early morning classes to late evening labs, weekend, and online options, they make it hard to avoid college based upon your busy schedule. They also offer a great nursing program, which I am currently in, that allows you to get hands on clinical experience starting in your first semester of the program!

Campus Resources: I have been able to make use of AACC's indoor pool, gym, and outdoor track. The facilities have helped me to stay in shape while on campus.
The new Library also is very helpful. The librarians are almost always ready to help me find the books I need for research. The only downside is that sometimes only one librarian is available to help multiple students which makes us students then have to practice patience.
There are plenty of computers available at any time the facilities are open. However, labs do not open until 10 minutes prior to 9am, which can cause complications to a student who needs to print out an assignment before their 9am (or earlier) class.

Campus Resources: The network is usually pretty reliable. There are labs all over campus for printing and computer use. The wireless access is very good. I can sometimes even get it from my car in the parking lot. However, it can be slow at times and I have experienced trouble logging into it occasionally.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I like AACC's affordable tuition rates. As an in county resident, I am able to pay without going into serious debt in student loans as many would at any university. I believe that every penny spent at this school so far has been worth it because the teachers and resources available have always helped me to reach my academic goals. Financial aid was very easy to apply for and only required me to fill out some simple paperwork and then a fafsa online.

Facilities: Overall, academics and facilities are very strong at AACC. The professors are wonderful and love what they do; they are helpful and very accommodating. The social scene is limited. Most students do not socialize. Due to AACC being a commuter school, clubs and social organizations are not as strong.

Academic Flexibility: AACC offers weekday classes from 6 am to late at night, weekend classes and online classes. It is accommodating and very easy to schedule your classes around your schedule. Professors are understanding in regards to students having other priorities.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Lots of resources. There are many sponsorships, fairs and work programs affiliated with the school. You have to keep yourself informed about the events going on on campus, but AACC is great with internships and work programs.

Academic Experience: Overall, my experience with my professors has been a great one. They have all been enjoyable except a few, and genuinely intrigued by their subjects which makes a wonderful environment to learn. The registration process is easy and you can register online, or with an advisor - both very convenient. The school offers many tutoring programs and resources and professors are usually very helpful and accommodating.

Campus Resources: Always a lot of resources. Faculty are always accommodating. Usually loads of space in the libraries and common rooms. Free printing, large access to documents and books.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Free printing, fast wifi, always a lot of space in the computer labs.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid is very accommodating. The education is definitly worth the price.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Very diverse student body. Not a lot of socializing, most students are just focused on getting their prereqs out of the way and not so much on making friends. People keep to themselves.

Overall Experience: Good school, loads of resources. Commuter campus so not a lot of social ties.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is what it is. Guidelines are old and outdate when loan reviews are being conducted. Service is slow.

Academic Experience: They don't offer what I wanted. I'm only attending because it's close to my home.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: There's great and not-so-great professors here. Some will help you in learning; while others can be shit-heads. Financial Aid department is slow in processing your loan requests; some guidelines are outdated and staff can be closed-minded to some real-world professions.

Student Body: Some are sociable; other aren't so much

Campus Resources: The library is new and awesome. Full if books for every subject offered and I never have a problem getting a computer to use. Also there are group study rooms with new flat screen TVs hooked to the computer. Some of the equipment in the athletic department is newer than the equipment at the gym I'm a member of.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: Sometimes the computers can be slow to start up. But the network never drops and is fast. The printers work and there's no fee or quota which is great. I never have to wait for a computer.

Overall Experience: So far my school experience has been great. The classes are well organized and I feel like I've learned something. The offices and campus services have good hours that work with my full time work week. My professors have been great in their subjects. Also the school has multiple satellite campus locations which has made this even easier for me.

4 College Student

Student Body: I see a lot of diversity in ages and gender and ethnic backgrounds.

Academic Flexibility: Registering has been easy, quick and painless. Counselors seem to always be available. Financial aid has been helpful and the payment offices have been helpful. My second semester I missed my deadline to use my book advance by a couple days due to being out of town, and the office was able to extend it for me without much issue.
I take online classes mostly and they have fit into my full time work schedule very easily. I also have been able to take weekend hybrid classes.

Student Body: Everyone else here is a loser.
There are a few exceptions, but honestly, everyone is white-trash or smokes. I have yet to find someone I find overly intelligent and it's a bit saddening.
If you want a good laugh, visit this campus and listen to the stoners and absolute failures talk about their lives. I get a good chuckle. One kid came to class with cupcake on his face. Like a whole cupcake. It was pretty stellar. I can't wait to never see these people again.
