Tuition & Financial Aid: The Mdcaps Only Offered 400 – The md caps grants only offered 400 for financial aid, the bare minimum amount given to grant just because its a community college. I didn't appreciate that too much. Other than that, you can apply for fasfa and find lots of information and financial aid forms in the office.

Student Body: The student body is mainly consisting of adult who want to complete their education, interns and highschoolers wanting college credits, or students wanting to save money and transfer, so there isn't much of a social aspect because peole who attend just want to focus on their education. the student body is very diverse, however, with highschool students, working adults, highschool graduates, different ethnicities, people of different religions, and even economic standing gather here to further their education and gain advantage of coming to this community college.

Academic Flexibility: Saves Money – I'm going to this school for two years and then transferring to the university I want to go to save money. B/c I took ap classes, i can complete the credits I need in one year if i go over summer. Not only that, but the academic advisor helps you when you enroll to match up the credits you need with exactly where you are planning to transfer.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Good Teaching – all of the teachers that I have had great methods of teaching and ways helping to remember things.

Online Courses: Online classes help with work schedules. I got to work at my own pace also.

Campus Resources: Overloaded Network Equals Fruastrated Students – A lot of the computers preform slowly and the network is always having issues. At least 2-3 times a week a professors can not access the network or show essential material/videos. It's always nice to get a pass everynow and then but usually it gets crammed in a few weeks before the final.

Academic Experience: Teachers Make the Difference – I'm a pre-veterinary major and my classes cover very difficult topics and concepts. Sometimes classes required for my major are not revelant. But overall the teachers make the difference between passing with feeling accomplished and failing with no clue. The teachers that spend more time seeing that the material is understood rather than just teaching it makes the differences.

Student Body: Full Time Parent, Full Time Student – Major of the student body consist of middle income people and single parents with full time jobs and one or more children. While there is a fair amount of fun and excitment going, the top priority is clearly an education.

Academic Experience: Too Many for Too Few – They let anyone sign up for the pre-nursing program but only have 40 spots in the actual program

Academic Flexibility: New Surroundings – As a new transfer I am pleasantly shocked by the ease of the transition. All members of the falculty have been kind, caring and explained the step by step process. They accomadated my schedule for face to face meetings. The teachers are very accessible.

College Senior

Career Services: Unqualified to Answer – I am a new student at AACC. I do not feel qualifed to answer this question.

College Junior

Campus Resources: I Am Not Too Sure About the Computer Network – Most of my computer needs are fulfilled at home. I have not had an opportunity to use the computer labs, so I can not properly rate the computer technology. I do know that they were updated recently per class mates.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Facilities Are Updated – The facilities on campus has be nicely updated with the latest attractions. The computers are in working order, and they have the latest equipment. Whats keeping me from giving the facility an A+ is the elevators does not always work and some of the restrooms can use a little bit of work. But over all it's not bad at all.

Overall Experience: Would Not Have Choose Another Community College. I am happy with the school I have choose to attend. AACC is giving me the educational experience I need, and the help that I need to obtain the grade that I am seeking. The technology is great and the professors are even better, they really love their jobs. They go above and beyond to make sure every one of their students that wants to succeed succeeds.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Hard Working Familys – I gave my school a C + partly because, most of the evening and night time student body are working class adults seeking a degree in a field which offers them either better pay, or self fulfillment. Daytime classes have mostly high school grads whom, most of them are immature and lack responsibly.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Amy at Glen Burnie is fantastic, the others not so much.

Campus Resources: Vast Amount of Resources Available – Resources are available to students through out the year without any cost. These resources includes library, computer labs, tutoring center, student services, campus activities, peer tutoring and even online tutoring is available 24/7

5 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Time Management – I took an online class, it was 6 week long class rather than 15 week long. All the quizzes and assignments were already available to students, so that they can complete assignment as they have free available time. It was just a matter of managing time so that one can submit assignments on time or before time.

Campus Resources: Excellent Network – My Community College has free and available WiFi all the time. Students are allowed to use computer labs for their academic work and research.Students are given opportunity to borrow library's laptops, if the computer labs are busy .In every class, we have computers, so that instructors can use them to show either presentation to class while giving lectures or to show some academic related videos and photographs. The network speed is very fast.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Diverse Community – My school is made up of a lot of different people from a lot of different backgrounds. I take classes with kids right out of high school and working adults that are pursuing further education to enhance their resume.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Unsure of Uniqueness – I am a part time student that has taken part in traditional, online and hybrid classes. I also work and am a mother of 2 young children. I really have not had the time to look into many aspects of the school other than the classes which I have found to be very flexible.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not had the need to utilize this service yet. I am currently employed part time so that I can go to school part time. I expect to use these services in the future.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Friendly and Helpful Staff – I am a first year student at AACC and needed help registering for financial aid. When I went to the office, the staff was very friendly and helpful when giving me all the necessary information needed to apply.
