Campus Strictness: The rules aren't that bad. If you're of age, you can drink off-campus as long as you don't come back drunk or bring alcohol back on campus with you. There's no curfew, so you can be out on the lawn or at Waffle House or wherever until 5 AM if you please, and the rule about visitation hours isn't that bad... it means your suitemates know when they can walk around half-undressed without someone of the opposite sex walking in, and there are plenty of places around and off campus to hand out with people of the other gender without having them in your room. Yes, you have to keep the lights on and the door propped open, but it's not like the RA's stalk the hall peering in at you all the time. At AU, the honor code is very strong. As long as we don't break a bunch of rules, we're mostly left to do as we please and trusted to act like adults.

Campus Strictness: I think that the strictness is definitely greater than public schools, but the rules are clearly stated and reasonable.

Campus Strictness: RSVP can be a little tedious at times.

Campus Strictness: I came from a Christian background, so the rules here don't really bother me. Anderson is a dry campus, and we have visitation hours for boys and girls to hang out in each other's dorms, teachers are pretty strict on the honor code. I have never actually encountered someone cheating in one of my classes, though.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The university is reasonable, but not too strict. They have rules that are reasonable enough for people to follow for the safety and well being of others.
