Facilities: Neoclassical Nightmare – There are a few new buildings popping up on campus including the new library, the nursing school, and several dormitories. The new dorms, although new, are a maze inside--lack a good floorplan. The library is the nicest building on campus. The rest are in need of tender loving care.

Health & Safety: Just a Boo-Boo Kind of Place – If you have any kind of illness bigger than a cough, they cannot help you. The nurses, although extremely nice, send you off-campus to another facility. If you do not have a mode of transportation, you are out of luck. There are several areas on the campus that need addressed as far as safety goes, as well.

Campus Strictness: Glorified High School – The university is strict and dull. Mandatory chapel every Wednesday. No eating or drinking in class. You are not allowed to wear clothes that show skin like "spaghetti straps" or "mini-skirts". Men are not even allowed to wear sleeveless shirts. If you want a university to be able to make true friends, this isn't the place. You are not allowed to be unattended in your own room with someone of the opposite sex, even if just platonic. Attendance policy is rigid. Campus dining is one step up from repulsive. Faculty and staff are kind and helpful, generally, but the atmosphere of the campus is elitist and lacks diversity. Do not attend this university if you are not a very devote Baptist, otherwise you will be ostracized.

Parking: Good, Inexpensive, Convenient – Parking on campus is not so bad. We have good parking available. Parking permits are affordable, and that is a huge plus for college students on a tight budget. Parking is convenient for access to most classes.

Facilities: Campus Life – The great thing about going to a small school is that you start to know who everybody is. Your classes are only around 30 people, and you know everybody's name by the time the semester is over. Professors are kind and thoughtful, and take the time to make sure you actually understand what they are teaching you. Also, with only around 2,000 students, it's really easy to make new friends.

Local Atmosphere: Local Attitude Toward Students – In the city of Anderson, almost everybody is nice to you despite who you are. But if they hear that you're a student at AU, it's kind of like you gain a little bit more instant respect. It's really neat, and I could definitely get used to it.

Facilities: I play a great deal of intramural sports at Anderson University, and I think that a good bit of their facilities could be much improved. Nothing is old or cracking or harmful, it's just not the best I have ever played on. The grass on the fields is hard and almost non-existent, and the basketball courts are very rough. Other than that, everywhere is nice.

Campus Dining: The food at Anderson University is not always at it's best but we do have great food at times. We have a total of three on campus dinings and they all have different types of food to eat. The only problem is the hours of which each place is open. As a college student, having late night snacks is like heaven and Anderson University doesn't offer much when it comes to late night dining.

Academics: The Academics at Anderson University are top notch! Our professors are highly qualified to teach the subjects and they teach it well. They give good understanding of course material and help us if needed. The workload at Anderson normally depends on what you choose to do. On a regular basis, 16 or 17 credits per semester is an average workload and anymore than that can get challenging.

Off-Campus Dining: Yummy Food! We have great Off-Campus dining around Anderson University! There are several types of food to choose from ranging from american, chinese, seafood, japanese, and even thai food! My friends and I love to go to places like J Peters who serve american foods and places like Nagoya who serve Japanese food!

Academics: The Academics at Anderson University are amazing! The professors are well trained in what they are teaching and they are very helpful when it comes to understanding. We have several programs at Anderson that allow for students to challenge themselves in academics. Each class is challenging yet accessible for each student to succeed in.

Diversity: Very Diverse – Anderson has a very diverse student body. Our international program is doing so well and Anderson University has attracted people from all over such as Japan, Serbia, Germany and Mexico! The people are of many races. We have blacks and whites and even indians and hispanics! I am proud of Anderson University for being so diverse!

Guys & Girls: Christian Environment – The girls and guys at Anderson University are very concerned about displaying a positive outward appearance. We border on preppy and sporty. The students who attend my university know from the beginning that we are a private christian university; so, most of the students behave appropriately. Girls and guys have events that they can be together, but we do have hours that the different sexes cannot visit in the dorms. Sports are very important to us - we are a division II school, but we are at the top of our region.

Off-Campus Housing: Not Convenient – The off-campus housing is difficult to find, just almost within walking distance, and expensive. The university offers scholarships that include the housing. If the students does not use on-campus housing, the amount for housing is deducted from the university scholarship. Most students enjoy the on-campus housing because of the variety of room plans available.

Local Atmosphere: Small but Comfortable College Town – The Anderson area provides tons of places to eat and a small mall in which to do shopping. Anderson is also located near Greenville which offers lots of attractions such as shopping and a large downtown area.

Weather: The weather is always nice, it gets to be a bit chilly in the winter months, but I didn't experience any hazardous weather. The spring is really nice and it feels good every day

Scholarships: Helpful but Improvement – I received a good amount of financial aid, but not as much as I thought I would. I always got called for verification and had to do my forms myself, with no help from parents. The financial aid officers are always willing to help find any money they can to help you afford education.

Greek Life: Being a Christian school, we at Anderson don't have Greek life on campus. Although, it would be neat to have I know it would most likely mean more trouble.

Overall Experience: Anderson is the best university in the world. I love it here. The teachers challenge you academically but are always open to helping in any way they can. They legitamally care about their students. All of the faculty show interest in students. Anderson is like a family community. I couldn't have chosen a better institution.

Health & Safety: Super Safe – Anderson's campus is really safe and has a great safety patrol.

Overall Experience: Real Christian School – Anderson is such a real Chistian school filled with good Christian people. I would choose this school every time without doubt.

Computers: Resources Are Rated Good – Anderson University provides each freshman and transfer student with an iPad. Other than that, the computer labs always have open spots and the Internet connection is great and fast.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Extremely Helpful – Professors are very understandable! They are always concerned about you. They're always available for extra help! Class are small, so there is definitely a one-on-one relationship with professors. Anderson University also offers tutoring.

Guys & Girls: Everyone's Friendly! I have never been to a school with such friendly students and faculty as I have at Anderson University. Everyone is polite and very helpful! There is definitely a huge bond in the school.
