4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: You have to go looking hard to find the drug scene.

2 College Junior

Parking: I am an Accel student and commute at times. Parking is awful I have circled the parking area for 10 minutes and was still unable to find park. I left and went to our local city library

3 College Sophomore

Computers: There are a few computers labs, all of which are open late and are fairly convinient. For printing, you get 500 free pages and then it is five cents a page after that. Network reliability is not consistent and it is often very slow, though they are working to improve this. You do not have to have a reasonable computer or printer but it does make things more convinient for you.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I was able to get the financial aid that I needed and was promised. However, there is a lot of paperwork and AU is slow to update your financial aid status and slow to process your aid. It can be very stressful waiting to see if things go through correctly.

Diversity: We have a fair number of international students as well as plenty of students of other races, though we do not have many Hispanic/Latino students. There have never been any issues with acceptance or people baed on different background, political beliefs, of sexual orientation and we have a wide variety of people with different backgrounds and views.

Weather: I LOVE living in South Carolina. You really get all four seasons here. My favorite season is Fall, because it's literally the perfect weather. Summer is brutal, but the winter isn't as bad which makes up for it.

Local Atmosphere: There is lots to offer in the small, charming town of Anderson. Plus it isn't far from Downtown Greenville that is a thriving city with lots to offer.

Health & Safety: I attend the university online so I can't give a detailed response. However, whenever I have to go to campus for anything the campus seems clean and up to date.

4 College Junior

Academics: It isnt always easy ut you get your moneys worth from it

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Everything is on Clemson Blvd or Greenville st. Most places have student discounts

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Anderson university is very expensive but they give out a lot of scholarships.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Christian College – There are some people who do drugs on campus but not very many. Most of the trouble makers drop out after their first year.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Not That Much to Do – Anderson has a skating rink and bowling alley which can be fun. There is a mall but it gets old very fast.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: Anderson University does not have any sororities or fraternities.

Nightlife: Christian School – As a Christian school with Christian values there are not any parties on campus. There are a few gross, shabby clubs in Anderson but they really aren't worth your time.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Not Enough Spaces – Its hard to find a parking spot on campus now. The school has gotten bigger but they have not expanded parking. Sometimes you have to keep driving around until you find a space.

College Senior

Drug Safety: I Don't Live on Campus – Since I don't live on campus, I really can't answer this question

4 College Senior

Majors: Easy Admission – Since I'm an ACCEL student admissions was really easy

3 College Senior

Majors: Okay With My Major – If I would of known that AU would end up with a nursing program offered at night through the ACCEL program that's where I would be

3 College Senior

Majors: FAST PACE 8wks classes, you can't get behind or you will remain behind.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Graphic Design Department Is the Best – If you are looking for a great education in the graphic design field Anderson is the place to go. Their department is so advanced and concerned with getting their students jobs after graduating and being successful in their field.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors Are Truly Interested in Helping Student Succeed – The professors on every class I took were extremely invested in seeing their students succeed. Most of my professors gave me their personal phone numbers if I were to ever have problems or need help with the classwork.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Introduction to Graphic Design – The class was excellent and did a great job teaching the essentials of the necessary programs graphic designers must know. Although my experience in the class was extremely positive I must say that the professor gave not so great suggestions in order to better the artwork produced.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The facilities are all well kept-up and clean but they are small and few in numbers. Small gym and only one, no theatre that is just for theatre majors, no dance studio.

4 College Junior

Parking: Fine amount of parking and its all relatively close considering how small the campus is. Could do with more near the chapel on chapel days.
