Scholarships: I would encourage anyone attending Anderson University to go talk with a financial aid counselor. They are willing to sit down with you and help decide the best way to do financial aid and what your payments will look like either currently or in the future. I have filled out financial aid and the process was overall simple.

Scholarships: I did receive money from my school, but I'm going to need a lot more than what they gave me this year to be able to attend my sophomore year.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The price tag was high, but automatic scholarships cover over $10,000 a year, and applying for other scholarships will only help. Definitely fill out the FAFSA. Beyond that, apply for any and every scholarship for which you are eligible. Also look into work study for additional aid.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got good scholarships here. I received one that they didn't tell me about which was good news but poor management. I don't get any federal aid besides loans which is kind of frustrating since I have two older brothers. One graduated from IU and is going to go into law school and the other is in the middle of his college career at Butler. I feel like FAFSA doesn't really account for the fact that it is hard to pay for multiple colleges at once even if your family is doing well. On the flip side I understand that there are many people out there that really need it a lot more than me.
