Academics: The education program in AU is wonderful. It is rigorous, fun, and very hands on. But it also requires a lot of content knowledge. Nothing can be earned without work, so there are a lot of work the more advanced the classes get. IF you work extremely hard, you can finish the curriculum within 4 years, but usually students go more than 4 to finish education. Education classes are scattered throughout, using many rooms across campus. Once reaching 4th year of college, every student must go through a student teaching process, where you are assigned to a school for a semester to really be involved and have a "real" teacher experience.

Academics: It's a very good school

4 College Senior

Academics: The School of Education is great. The professors are always willing to help their students. Most of the time the professors can be reached in their offices or by email, and most of them will respond to an email the same day. The workload is fairly small most of the time with projects here and there.
