2 College Sophomore

Majors: Haven't had any internships yet, but it is required in my major. Professors try to point you toward an internship that is good for you.

2 College Sophomore

Majors: I am happy with my career choice..youth ministry. I am a little worried about the cost of my education and how hard it will be to repay my loans on my potential salary. I sometimes think I should have taken my pre-reqs at a state school, then transferred in to a Christian school for the classes pertinent to my major. I am a little concerned that I won't be able to find a full-time position in my field. I love the social opportunities I have had at AU. Looking forward to a missions trip to Uganda in May 2014.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: We don't have actual "Greek Sororities or Fraternities". We have "social clubs" which are similar. We have surge weeks instead of Rush week.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Quality kids, usually upper economic status, higher intelligence, religious.

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: Due to being a Christian college, most students come from similar backgrounds.

2 College Sophomore

Facilities: Some buildings need updated...especially the main dining hall and Rice Hall (freshman girls dorm). Furniture here is very old and worn. Some buildings have seen better days, while others are very modern and nice.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Within 20mins of campus is a variety of options. Within 30-40mins is Indianapolis with a plethora of options. Not very many places offer student discounts, however.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Christian campus with high expectations, but most students know about these before coming & realize the limits. RAs are respectful, but expect rules to be followed.

1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They offered a good scholarship initially, but appear to have no wiggle room if you need help down the road.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Right now they are renovating one dining area & adding Chick Fil-A, so options are more limited. Recently revamped our flex-dollars & can no longer use them in the bookstore or Mocha Joe's coffee house.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Nursing, engineering, education. registration is easy, but sometimes the classes fill up fast. Challenging workload, but not terribly overwhelming. Study areas across campus...library, dorms.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors are always available and very interested in the students. Small class sizes. Expect critical thinking. Point students to opportunities for growth/internships. Classroom facilities are nice/modern.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Close to Indianapolis, Noblesville. Good shopping. Campus is very safe. Locals really seem to like having the students around.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: It's the Midwest...weather can change on a dime

2 College Sophomore

Majors: I will officially apply to the social work program next year.

2 College Sophomore

Majors: I have a small internship currently. Anderson University offers many different connections to various internships.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Because Anderson University is a Christian university, there are several lifestyle expectations regarding drinking, open house hours, and drug use that are strictly enforced.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love my school because of the overall quality of people there. Everyone is friendly and genuine with each other. It is small enough that my professors know me personally and are very helpful. I feel like the social work program prepares me well to work with people.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The social work program prepares me well to work with people.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors are sensitive to each student's needs and are all well-educated.

1 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Food on campus is not ideal.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The football team is not very good, however baseball and softball do very well. Other sports on campus do well at competing in conference.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: There are hardly enough parking spots and most are not even near the dorms. The freshman parking is far away. Also, the campus police are sticklers for parking permits and give tickets out. However, you can park wherever you want on the weekends.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There is not much of a bar/club scene near AU. AU campus life does have dances and events most weekends which are quite fun and inventive.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: There are plenty of nice computer labs. There is wireless access to everybody on campus, however it is not very reliable. It does not work well in some places on campus, and can go out without warning. There are printers throughout campus that work well although you have to have an account with money on it to use them.
