4 College Junior

Career Services: They are very good because they want there graduates to find jobs

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: the computers are great the only down fall is they only have a few computers to use.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The campus resources are the faculity. the faculity is what makes the diffrence

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: We do not have any sports clubs. We do have a small student center where you can study. It is very nice but I wish it was bigger. the library is small. There are a few campus activities each semister.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Its a small college that is still growing. They are changing things more and more for the better. I believe they are the best college for me.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The instructors for my classes were very knowledgeable and made sure that I understood the topics discussed. We were given opportunities to work with instructors outside of class time to ensure that we understood the material.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I wish that Ameritech had more afternoon/evening classes available but they have tried to make my schedule as convenient as possible for me.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It was very encouraging to know that they were willing to work with me so that I could afford to attend Ameritech.

Academic Flexibility: The reason that I choose this school was because of the lack of flexibility. The school is academic and driven.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The students at my school are very driven. Our lives revolve around getting our work done and done correctly. We are passionate about our goals for our future as Registered Nurses.

Academic Flexibility: Don't Expect Flexibility – This school puts you on a fast track to a career. Because of that, you can't miss classes (hence the super strict attendance policy). You are also given a schedule rather than making one yourself. You have to work around school. Period.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Great Education – This really is a great school that will prepare you for your career.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very Expensive – I'm still having a hard time grasping how much I'm paying for school. Most people will get some financial aid, which helps a lot, but its still a big chunk of money. Although it is a private school, they have excellent teachers, great labs, and great job placement stats. It also shouldn't be too difficult to pay off any loans once you get a job in your field.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Glad I Came Here – I was very nervous about the price of enrollment at Ameritech, but I soon realized that the education I'm getting is worth the cost. The equipment is top of the line, the instructors are great, and the material prepares you well for a medical career.

4 College Senior

Career Services: From what I have heard, since I have not yet graduated myself, the career placement office works really hard to get you a job that you will love! That's something that a lot of other colleges won't do.

Online Courses: Dont Get Behind – It is a smaller school so you need to get registered as soon as you can if you want the best class for your schedule. Teachers are available and friendly and want you to succeed.

Career Services: Just beware I would strongly suggest going somewhere else.

Online Courses: they require you in class at all times, and have a very strict attendance policy

Overall Experience: Read Carefully – I remember going and taking a tour of the school and being told how flexible schedules and staff are. NOT THE CASE AT ALL. To register you sit in front of a computer and the moment the clock turns to a specified tim you have to hit the submit button and hope you got your schedul in first because at that same moment 50 other people are pushing their buttons. Schedules are always registered for on a sunday usually around 1PM and if you can't be in fron of the computer to hit send you are SOL. Attendance policy is crap. Miss more than one day you are on probation. I had to for to a funeral and recieved my paperwork when I got back. This school is not a school. Ir is a business and run like one. The money is the bottom line and you will find very few people that give a crap about the students. When I first started we had a great staff however most of them are gone now and we are left with the rejects that can't find a job anywhere else.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Happy With My Choice – I'm 42 years old, and I wasn't too sure about attending school again, but I had a talk with admission and they assured me that I could do it! I'am very proud of my decision to go back to school.

Academic Experience: Nursing at Ameritech – The campus I attend school at is primarily nursing students and so we are by far the majority. The school revolves around our program, which has mandatory attendance among other rules that are not a part of every program. The workload is intense but necessary for the accelerated program. The curriculum is relevant.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Flexibility at Ameritech – Ameritech is like many other schools in that the flexibility varies from instructor to instructor. There are very little options for class schedules. I have had a fantastic experience with transfer credits and most instructors are willing to reevaluate and admit if they are wrong. They also refuse to be walked on and will not back down when they know they are right.

Online Courses: Registration Process – First come, first serve registration through email requests. Makes it tough because you are assigned a certain day and time and if the email doesn't go through for some reason, you don't get registered. Have tried to talk to administration about improving the process but they won't listen to suggestions.

Campus Resources: Very Expensive Associate's Degress – Accelerated program which is nice, but maybe not worth the money

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Very Pleased – The instructors are very approachable and makes the material learned in class easy to learn. The faculty listens to input from the students and helps to improve different features available to students.
