Academic Experience: Oh, it's wonderful. I feel a great deal of pride being in a nursing program.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The academics offered at my school are specific to the nursing programs that they offer; which are, LPN, RN, BSN. They are excellent.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I think my student body is comprised of mature, responsible people looking to improve their lives by improving others lives through the nursing program.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do think the tuition is pretty steep. I would like to see it more affordable.

4 College Junior

Facilities: What I think sets my school apart is its class/program availability to working adults pursuing a higher education. It's very accessible.

Career Services: The quality of post grad services at Ambria College of Nursing is very very good.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been fairly good. I am very pleased that Ambria College of Nursing now offers a BSN program. The reason I say it's okay is because it seems disorganized. However, what stands out there is the the faculty does genuinely seem to care about the students success in achieving their dreams and goals.

Campus Resources: I am a current student at Ambria College of Nursing in the RN program. I have nothing but positive things to say about Ambria. Many years ago I obtained my CNA and after 15 years I obtained my LPN at a local community college. I have been an LPN for 7 years and found that there were to many gen eds I had to take, and retake along with taking the TEASE Test to go back to school at my local community college to obtain my RN. I did not have time to waste, so as nursing in Illinois is changing, I found Ambria the best choice for me. I did not have to take the TEASE Test, all my gen eds transferred and I didn't have to repeat classes. I have GREAT Teachers at Ambria, the staff has always been there when I had questions. Nursing School is what a person makes it. If you want a positive experience you have to be positive. Again, Ambria is a GREAT Nursing School and the staff along with the dedicated students make it a GREAT place to learn and reach your dreams of becoming an RN!!!!

Academic Experience: I'm currently in the RN program (completed the LPN program), after trying to get into a community college program (not because of low grades but because of time) I got frustrated and looked into private school options. This HONESTLY was the right fit for me. I read the negative reviews and felt I needed to put out my positive experience. People really need to understand Ambria isn't your community college it hasn't had policies and programs established by the state- This school actually cares what kind of students and NURSES they produce and send into the world. While working as an LPN I've come across so many people that should have never graduated ... But I'm a great NURSE because of this program at THIS school. A lot of people say "they don't care" just want to make money... Well then why did so many people hold my hand and really guide me through the process... NOT only that but they open up so many realms to succeed if you actually make use of them. Some may feel they are strict but wouldn't you want your nurse if your sick to come from a tough school?

Academic Experience: I don't agree with some of the decisions they have made about their curriculum . I believe they could do a better job to provide a better education.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I was offered a grant worth $3,800 and the school only accepted $2,000 which was upsetting. The process of applying was easy.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because they are very flexiable with my other scheduals and the people who work there were very helpful and nice, especially the people in the financial aide department!

3 College Junior

Student Body: I would say that the student body at my school is very diverse with many different ethnicities of both males and females.

Academic Flexibility: My overall experience at Ambria has been great. I love the fact that classes are small and everyone seems to know everyone. Transferring my credits was relatively easy.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are many available resources at Ambria. What I like most is that I am able to speak with someone all the time to help answer any questions I have. Everyone I've met have been very pleasant and informative.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The ethnic diversity is very broad at Ambria. There are people that come from many different backgrounds. Students seem to be more driven and are determined to change their current situation.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Class sizes are small, which allows for more one on one teaching when/if needed.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The school provides great access to a computer when/if needed. I have never experienced any issues with not having immediate access to a computer. The school network is reliable/fast, I have never had any problems.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: the financial aid department is excellent in helping you apply for financial aid. The school is expensive sometimes i think too expensive to where you can't slow down your working habits. I guess the price is expected because it is a private college

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The overall academic is very good so far they are number one for taking there nclex and passing it on the first try

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: they offer alot of resources for there for the students like a computer room tutors and etc but some students like to go to the teacher for help instead of always pushing them to a tutor. The teachers should go over the materials in the book more instead of teaching their own things that they know about the book that intend to confuse a student because everything that they're tested on is out the book.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are many computers for the students to use. There is also a study room. The study room at times can be loud which makes it hard to study.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: This school is very expensive. I am not able to get financial aid and loans are not available.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Not Many Facilities – Ambria is a newer school so it has access to plenty of computers and printers. it does not however have a library but does offer a tutoring room and many study rooms similar to rooms that you can find at a local library.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: Americare does not really have much of a campus life. The only student interaction happening unless it is tutoring or in the classroom.
