Guys & Girls: Wait, I'm supposed to rate the looks and characteristics of the other students at AU? Is this high school? Stop being ridiculous.

Guys & Girls: You probably won't find America's Next Top Model here, but it's kind of one of those places where "looks aren't everything". Everyone is pretty ambitious and passionate, which are great qualities. Everyone is always well dressed, you're the odd one out if you wear sweatpants to class and aren't an athlete.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: people are people guys or girls their people I for one choose not to judge any one based on any aspect of them. I dont want to be judged so I wont be a judge . but I go to a small university so we are all very close ,we help each other when we can . we socialize a lot out side of school and since starting I have gained a lot of new friend s.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: STudent's at AU are hardworking and socially conscious.

The cosmopolitan and ambitious student body tends to place a greater emphasis on individuality, motivation, and intelligence than on appearance, but a fresh, clean-cut look doesn’t hurt, either.

Straight women at AU complain that satisfactory boyfriends are hard to find, as girls considerably outnumber the guys on campus. Plus, there is a notable gay population. Exploring the greater city may be a more efficient way to hook up. Don’t be afraid to go out and meet people at bars, clubs, city organizations, or just on the street. While it is somewhat difficult to find straight, good-looking guys, they do exist at AU—you just have to look a little harder.

Social Scene
The social scene at AU is varied-there's something for everyone. However, AU has an overwhelming female population. Therefore, many of the more attractive young women on campus either lower their standards-looks-wise-or choose to head off campus to find an equally attractive male counterpart. Ladies, do not fear, though: D.C. is full of eligible bachelors. Be sure to check out the frat and house parties, clubs, bars, and shows in the area.
Hookups or Relationships?
Both hookups and relationships exist commonly at AU, and both can be obtained if interested. Many of the busiest students opt for hookups, though, so as not to interfere with their schoolwork or internships.
Dress Code
Because AU is in the highly-professional capital city, the dress is more formal than most places. Students are often seen wearing suits while coming and going from internships or jobs, with slacks and collared shirts not unusual. Outside of the professional aspect of the fashion at AU, the students are indistinguishable from any other college students. Hoodies and flip-flops are everywhere!
