Computers: Overall the computer accessibility and quality here is good. There are plenty of computers available, although many are in odd/inconvenient places, and where they are most convenient there is a lack thereof. Printing is covered by the school, up to 50euros in amount - which for the last five semesters was more than enough for me, and I am a heavy duty printer person.

The wifi sucks. It is virtually impossible to get hold of a stable connection on personal computers. Laptops are not essential to student life. Most professors are somewhat against laptops, but in my program it is fairly widespread to use laptops in class.

Computers: It's not bad at all. Mixture of PC's and Mac's and there are several computer labs.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: AUP has two computer labs as well as many computers set up in the student library for students to utilize for assignments and deadlines throughout the year. The network reliability is extremely dependable and the network is generally very fast. I would recommend having your own laptop for your home when you're at AUP, because I personally like being able to work from home on my assignments and our buildings are not open 24 hours. Although, it could be manageable to do without one and use school computers and a usb drive if you cannot afford a laptop or would rather do so.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: There are never technical problems and only very rarely (such as during finals week) would one have difficulty getting a computer in the library or computer labs.

4 College Freshman

Computers: There are a limited number of Dells in the library, though there is a mac lab in Grenelle.

Technology at AUP is pretty standard. Students can go to the Information Technology Services department to get help with computer issues and hardware or software. The University has a wireless network, too. Basically, computers at AUP are not too different from American campuses.
