3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Campus buildings are not labeled great for finding you class. To much violence, don't feel safe at night. Professors are good and after the first two weeks of semester class sizes are not to big.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: the academics flexibility is ok we need to put in the hard work and as for help and academic is flexible

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The teachers at this school are all involved and very informative. I learned a lot in all my classes and was always satisfied with my teachers teaching styles.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: This school offers a lot of aid to students and other opportunities. The only problem is I don't qualify for any of it.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online class are usually more difficult than regular classes because you have to plan your time for effectively in order to succeed. The work load is about the same as a regular class.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I think that the campus is nice, I think it's unique in a way because it's part of a community college district made up of three schools. So it is easy to enroll in different classes on different campuses.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this grade only because I feel like the school doesn't provide enough classes for students, not only that the way they assign enrolling dates seems to be unfair, because I am a transfer student they push my enrollment date toward the end because I won't be getting an AA at that school, it's a little upsetting because my friend just lies on their application and say they are going to graduate there to get a sooner enrollment date even though they have no intention of doing so. Since I choose to be honest I get pushed toward the end and most of my classes get filled up and I'm stuck prolonging my school years. Seems as if their system is not efficient.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: For part of my major I wanted to study child development. There is a child development center on our campus where our lab was held. It is great experience.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid I've received at this school has helped me excel here.

College Senior

Career Services: I began attending school here with a vision for what I wanted to do with my future. The Career Services at ARC was extremely helpful in guiding me towards choosing the right major for my future endeavors.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The computer network at American River College is excellent. The wireless networks are strong, the printing department staff are very helpful in accommodating your needs, and the computer labs are modern and user-friendly. I have never had a problem with computer network accessibility at American River College.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Too much paperwork and runaround but I'm sure it's the same with any other school.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: So far my experience has not been too terrible. I just do not enjoy the constant struggle to get into classes I need in order to progress towards my program. It's bound to happen with overcrowding but it doesn't make it any less stressful being put on a waiting list with no guarantee of making it into the class.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: All the campus resources are adequate. Im still learning my way around campus still. The only problem is the library gets crowded really fast.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I don't really have a specific major yet I'm still deciding. I was going to do psychology but it is a lot of work. I'm really interested in it though. I just dont want to be in college forever.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I actually like the professors they really interact with each student. There is vigorous work which really challenges you. Although the class registration is pretty difficult because everything is online. I tried to get into my classes this semester for spring 2013 eservices was down for a while. Which made me mad since my date was already a late one but oh well. Classes get full really fast community colleges are impacted now.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: i was excited to join a program where the other students were just like me. its a program for adults who work and have been out of school for awhile.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: the student services center is very inviting i can go there and get financial aid info, eops, testing done all in one

5 College Junior

Career Services: from what i have seen the career center does have a high rate of students that go through there employed.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: i take my laptop with me to school they provide wi fi to students its always fast and running. they also have access to student labs where there are computers, printers, and all other technical equipment.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I find my professors to be very knowledgeable and easly accessiable.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: The student body in this school is great, its diverse in culture, and everybody has a friendly positive attitude. Students are open-minded and are willing to help anybody who needs it.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Although I have changed majors, my previous experience at this school has taught me that if you want to learn something here, you'll learn it, with time, effort, and focus, you can achieve anything here.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: While American River College is a community college, it is a great step for students who are interested in pursuing a two year degree, or a four year college transferable degree in a wide variety of courses. Students can focus on many different areas of study, ranging from athletics, math, science, technology, to construction, performing arts, music, and much more.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The resources are okay the wireless connection is hard to get but the labs are nice.
