3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Most of my classes were online so I wasn't able to experience many campus resources.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Didn't have much contact with the Student Body. They were represented when I was awarded membership into Phi Theta Kappa and they seemed nice.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Some of the teachers seem a bit out of touch with current subject matter when it comes to teaching the most up-to-date content. So to get books that are updated would be a good idea.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I have found that there is a lot of religious intolerance towards Christians by the student body.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: It is sometimes a pain to have to wait to show my ID at the desk before logging on.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: American River College has a Speech Pathology Assisting Program, which is only 1 of 3 in California I think.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Not a very interactive student body from my experience.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Very upscale library with many levels of study areas, including private study rooms.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Very large computer lab with good computers, usually always one available.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Lots of helpful resources on campus to help students.

College Senior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses so my feedback in this area would not be helpful :(

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The Learning Resource Center on campus is equppied with over 50 computers and tutors who are always willing to help students in need. You can either schedule a tutoring appointment for a speicifc subject or get tutoring on selected subjects on a walk-in basis

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The academic courses at American River College are among the best that I've ever had the opportunity to take.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Wow! ARC is filled with campus resourecs. If a student truly desires to attain assistance, help would not be hard to find. Additionally, the staff and faculty members are very willing to walk students to the places on campus that can help them.

4 College Senior

Student Body: I don't usually associate myself with too many students on campus because I'm focuses on attaining my degree and transferring as soon as I can. However, I am currently a peer mentor inside the Community and Diversity Center and everyone I've interacted with inside the Student Center have been highly inviting and willing to engage in many diffiicult conversational topics such as race, religion and sexual orientation. This has been a true benefit to my academic career.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I've attened few different colleges in my acadmic career; however, The classes at American River College have been the most challenging and intellectually satisfying courses I've ever had the pleasure of taking. The professors have always went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I understood the material.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Never really had issues with the network. I have my on laptop, seems to work great all the time. Printers on campus are awesome too. Also, most staff is friendly if you need help with printing or the computer in general

College Sophomore

Career Services: The career center seems great, but I have not personally used this resource.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Lots and lots of resources! Free! Need help in math? science? Engineering? Seems to be a free tutoring everywhere! Cant decide a major? career counseling! NEW cafeteria that is wonderful with lots of room inside and out. AWESOME Library with tons of computer, laptops to use, lots of space for studying and cool architectural design.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Just finished the semester with my first 4.0! It really helps to take the right amount of classes for your own self rather than failing while trying to "keep-up" with peers

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I have taken a math course online and the teacher and tutors were available to help me, but I am a more of a hands on in class person.
