Academic Flexibility: My biggest frustration has been being able to get resources because in the beginning of my college studies I dropped a lot of classes. Teachers are understanding when life happens and they do what they can to help you.

College Senior

Career Services: I have not really used the career center much because I am not close to graduation. Just have not taken advantage of those resources.

Online Courses: I thought it would be hard but it's easy to log on and everyone in your call is accessible to talk to. Teachers respond ASAP and it'sjust vgreat if you are too busy to attend class.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are limited. There is a wide range of incomes and ages, for this reason the school's resources are usually used until they are non-available because of overuse or nonexistent because they have been exhausted.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Getting financial aid at this level is hard. I was denied because of my parent's income level and the school's budget allowance. With classes the prices are relatively low compared to a public university so I think you get what you pay for. I've had a few select classes from professors that also teach at UCD or other larger institutions where I felt like I was getting more than my money's worth.

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of Administration depends on specific situations and the person you happen to be talking to that day. I feel for the faculty in charge of counseling because they are always swamped and try to rush people in and out unless you find a really awesome one.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The dance and business departments have a few select teacher that take interest in their students. Workload is always manageable, I'm able to manage upwards of 15 units each semester. The facilities need some improvement, but the theater just got beautifully redone, and there are additions happening this semester to other locations on campus. Jobs and internships are only present if you ask or search them out.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I've loved all but two of my professors in 4 semesters. They've had great personalities, love of their field, held their students accountable, and made learn apply to real-world situations. I have to say it's either a really awesome instructor or a dud, you just have to make the most of it.

Online Courses: I have only taken two six-week online summer courses but they made me decide never to attempt online classes until I reach a larger university. The professor didn't grade all of the homework we turned in until the 4th week of class by which time you could not correct it or use it to learn from. Overall a frustrating experience.

Career Services: I have not had any first hand experience with this topic. What I can say is that I don't know of any notable alumni or students that have gone on to high-profile jobs straight out of a program at my school.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There is a wide acceptance of diversity in my school's student body. There are many accepted ethnicity's and ages within the classes I attend. The levels of income vary but it is mostly students that need a cheaper solution before university or are choosing the school out of academic convenience.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: My current community college gets me what I need at a lower price than other institutions. Some of the teachers are unmotivated and contrastingly others are the best at what they do and they love their work. There isn't an awesome campus life, there are only a few select outstanding councilors who don't pigeon-hole you but if you work hard enough you will make it all work out fine.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are certificates for immediate use and help with job placement. My school is one of the only in California that has a vocational welding program. As for personal job experience I can not speak for myself but, the dance department is really supportive and uses it's connections well.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't had any online courses, but friends say it is nice.

Academic Flexibility: My scheduling of classes is very easy, I like morning classes so I finish that days homework right then, not at night.

Academic Experience: Well right now I am just working on General edcation, but the resources are really good.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Many athletic programs, and many professors that help out students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My financial aid is the worst, I can barely afford going to college and they will not help me at all.

Student Body: My school has much diversity like Hispanic, Asian, French, Irish etc. The student body s always talking and smiling, my first semester I didn't meet anyone that was rude.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors for the most part are really helpful, and they take as much time that is needed to help you understand the mmaterial.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: They have many resources on their campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Campus has many quite study spots, and it has a lot of space in those places. American River also has many lawns so it relaxes you during the day.
