College Sophomore

Career Services: Haven't utilized these services yet.

College Sophomore

Student Body: I am just starting to take classes here and will know more later.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: So far I am excited by the fact that the NSA helped to develop their IT degrees.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I have just started classes. Will know more as classes progress.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My only complaint is that they mainly communicate by email.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Everything is as great as can possibly be. Manageable courseload can be 8 or 16 weeks, goes by fast

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very affordable compared to other online schools. Better than Kaplan

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I wish they would open the classroom at 12:01 on the scheduled day or even 1 or 2 days before hand so that I may go over some things like syllabus even if I can't submit work.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Has a lot of writing. I hate writing but it is helping me improve. Workload is manageable even with me taking more than 12 credits per semester

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Regionally accredited online school, more affordable than others, work a bit harder but manageable workload even with taking over 12 credits per semester, financial aid process is very straightforward.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: My degree is history, the profs are amazing and the workload is hard but not too hard.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors are great. The class registration process is amazing, you click on your academics plan and choose your classes out of that list so that you can not registrar for classes not in your plan by accident.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Great online libraries, and other resources.

College Junior

Campus Resources: Online school. So this was not applicable.

College Junior

Career Services: I didn't use career services.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its cheap. Books are all paid for in your up front tuition which is a small amount compared to other universities. financial aid works with you and does their best to get you through the system quickly.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would have chosen to go to Texas Wesleyan university if I could do it again but it was great for the transition because I was accepted and registered for classes in less than a week after I applied. That would not happen at another university.

4 College Junior

Student Body: It is connected to the American military university so it is largely military students in the classroom. Students are less diverse in some ways but more diverse in others. My fellow students right now are in Afghanistan, Germany, all over the world. I have teachers living in Italy and experiencing Rome, or Greece as we study it in history.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like the process for receiving financial aid is very time consuming and in the end I do not feel it is worth it, because filling out so much paperwork to possibly get aid I seem to not be eligible for it and I have not been able to take as many classes at a time as I wish due to the cost of each class.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I'm saying it is only okay, because I earned so many credits at my community college before transferring to American Public University System, and they did not accept nearly as many credits as I thought they did. I have been having to work myself up to where I was, but I am determined to finish my BA at this school.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They are great and very helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Just don't understand why there is a technology fee of $50.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: We converse by chatting or typing each other.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I stay on the computer and it is great!

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: It is very convenient for my schedule. Books are free for overseas students and/or ebook links are given on start day of the class. I attend another university and the parent letter process is pretty easy to get.
