3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: No one is pressured to do drugs on campus. A good amount of people drink alcohol but not many people are pressured to do it.

1 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is not safe at all. The city is not safe to walk around in or take public transportation. There are places to shop in the city but the locals attitudes towards students is poor.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Career services is not out there like you dont get too much information from them unless you go in

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I'm content not too happy could be better college is boring after classes there's nothing to do and dont really look forward to the weekend

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Need another gym where average students can use

4 College Sophomore

Academics: There's plenty of academics that are offered

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Need more computers and better computers

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There's no parties on campus at all

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: There's only one shuttle running sucks cause it gets cold

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus walking distance restuerants is only Antonio's

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Everything very average there's white, black, latinos and one gay guy that sits with us

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There's a lot of springfield people that dont like AIC students and vice versa

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Its ok, it's not like where I live and is completely diverse, but it's something close to diverse. I say more international.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: despite the dorms, I think its the best thing ever! everyone should be able/want to experience the campus/dorm life. the cost does make it more expensive but other then that its great. especially if you don't live close to commute everyday.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: most of the campus is athletes. all the money goes to athletes. but the fan support and school spirit is that big, unless its a important game.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: I mean if you live anywhere in the north you are used to it and anywhere with warm climate, I don't think it really bothers them too much. Everyone hates the cold and rain and snow to a certain extent. but I don't think we let it effect our campus experience much.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I love being a Sociology major. you get to build a personal, one on one relationship with your professors. workload is manageable. curriculum is interesting. Haven't got to the internship part yet, but I'm sure they are great and easy to find.

1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: American International College is a really good school, academically and sport wise. And they have a lot of money but just put it towards dumb things or give it to the athletes or the people who don't really want to be there. Which isn't really fair for the students who want to e there but can't because they can't afford it and are forced to leave until they come up with the money. like me!

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: The shuttle is only good for getting students to one side of the campus to the other. I wouldn't say we are isolated because there are things around and a lot of them are just down the street, but by feet it will take awhile to get to. so there are buses that run often but who wants to take the bus just to go to cvs or mcdonalds or your actual bank? not me and not a lot of students. so that's wen a car is good.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Honestly, it depends on the person and student, and the actual situation.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: There is a lot that can be worked on. we should get more free prints then we are given. I never had too much problems with the service or anything but there have definitely been times where it has been a big issue to some. Especially in certain parts of the campus

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: we have Jamaican, Spanish, Chinese food spots around, which of course only the Chinese food restaurants are open late. Then there's a Dominoes, pizza hut, Wings over Springfield and such that are very popular and a lot of students order often especially late nights. Lastly there is a pizza shop across the street that's open late and is very delicious. All of these food places are well known on campus and we are well known to these food places. None of these are extremely expensive, all are affordable. They usually come with special discounts but not for college specifically. But we have a special deal with Dominoes and we can use our Student ID that we use to get into our Dinning Commons and on campus food places at dominoes as well. So as long as you have money on your college ID, you can buy at Dominoes without actually having to spend money out your pocket.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: the dorms are ok not the best

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The school is small so the student teacher ratio is great The professors get to really know you.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: parking is sometimes hard to find
