5 College Senior

Campus Resources: The staff and students are extremely friendly and welcoming!

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: I think our staff make our campus very unique. I personally know everybody on our staff and they know me. I can be having a bad day, walk through our lobby, and they can tell just by my face that im stressed or sad or whatever. They go out of their way to make sure we are all ok, and help us to continue on the right path.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Our financial aid department is awesome! They always there to help, i usually have problems doing fasfa and they always are so friendly and heplful. I also think i am paying an appropriate amount of tuition for the education i am recieving.

Campus Resources: There are not many extra resourses at American Intercontinental University South Florida, which is why i would give it a "B+". But the resources that we do have are awesome. Our library is very resourceful, we have several computer labs(they are all wonderful), a "breakroom" with pool tables, a small cafe, and we always have campus events. They have a "student appreciate" cookout every quarter, and they always encourage us to get involved for techer appreciation days too.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: My university doesn't has a variety of programs to offer. It has business, criminal justice, fashion and IT. It is a very small university and I am happy for that. Students are able to communicate with their instructors right away. The class size is no more than 20 students and no less than 5. This is very helpful for those who really need to interact with their instructors; it makes it easier. The parking lot if perfect, we have transportation, computers, a library which has everything that we need, a cafeteria, bending machines. Every week there is something to do at the university, Hispanic heritage month, Race for the cure events... The administration and carrier department are always willing to help.
In the other hand, I don't like online courses and I would want to have more choices to choose from, when we are talking about programs.. Besides that, everything is great.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this university because of the flexibility of the class schedule. You can work and o to the university at the same time and is not that overwhelming. I took Spanish AP in high school and the University recognized the credits that I was suppose to get.
I gave AIU a A because, as great as may sound I don't like online courses. And most of the specialization ones are online.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Small School – My school is very small. With it being scattered about and having many different colleges in and out of the country with online classes, i have to say that sets it aside from many other schools. At my school the professors know what they are talking about with insight information.

Overall Experience: My School – Every one there are nice. They always keep you laughing. Even if you have a paper due in an hour, there's always something to laugh about. My school is very small and class sizes seem just about right. I haven't been to many events, but i wouldnt choose this school again because of tuition. But once you listen to the lectures from the professor's, AIU is well worth it.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Majority of the people at my school have kids. So they cant always make it to class, but when they do come they are always on time with their A game.

2 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: As the school i am attending does offer my selected course of study, it doesn't offer my primary choice. I would have loved to domsomething in health, i.e. RN, but the course offers were very slim and limited. They offered the basics like computer technology, music, and fashion. It makes the school sound more like an trade institute or career college. As for the students and professors, there should be more of a close relationships looking at the size of the school and all.

Campus Resources: Motivating Learning Environment – Due to the fact that the classes are so small, it gives students a chance for a more one on one learning experience.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: What Makes My School Unique – This is the first college i have ever been to and it has put a lot of positive thoughts in my head. Everyone is super friendly, from staff to students, they are welcoming and will not hesitate to help you with whatever difficulties you are facing!
