Online Courses: Online courses are made to be easy to understand and use. Everything is easy to find and very straight forward. If you should have any problems, AIU has a great tech support team and, each student is assigned their own student adviser. All professors have real life experience in what ever course it is that they are teaching. So not only do they have extensive knowledge of the subject, they also have the know how. Professors are usually very good about getting back to students, with questions and concerns, within 24-48 hours, and you can speak to your fellow students through e-mail, live chats, and in the classroom.

Campus Resources: their online virtual campus has everything there is! Just like real campus, AIU has student records department, financial Aid office, campus virtual area, which is similar to regular college/university's Student Union. Everything you need to access academically, AIU, are offered at the touch of a button!

Student Body: I am a purely online student. But, all the other students (who are online as well) are all extremely helpful. I'm my classes we have people from all over the world. It's very refreshing to chat with these people, and put our heads together for a project, because of all the different views. It's a lot easier than one may think, because it always give you a new out look to hear a different point of view.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I know that the education that I am getting is going to pay off big time. It's just that with the financial aid you only get a little portion back, and I have a three year old son and I have to pay for day care to watch him so that I can attend school, and it isn't enough money to cover even half. On top of that there are other things I need like a laptop, since I am doing all my classes online.
I know that my education is extremely important and AIU has been extremely helpful to help get me settled in and get my classes going ASAP.

Online Courses: If you received an A+ or mostly A's that was an above average grade, if you got an A+ in all of your classes you will get recognition and get on the Dean's list

Academic Experience: Professors at AIU are great. I have only had one professor that was hard to work with, but he was always there when I needed him. I have never experienced a situation to where I could not ask a professor a question, or even help with my assignments, because they were always willing to be there when needed. Online chats are very important due to the fact that you can get help while the professor is teaching the class. Overall I really enjoy being a student at AIU.

Academic Experience: My academic experience was great in my business major. I had a few problems with some of the course material because some things were not in the book.

Academic Experience: Admissions and academic advisors are very helpful and determined to get you enrolled into school. I really dont like the financial aid process. I live in GA and the school does not accept GA funding. This is the most important thing I hate about AIU with the tuition being so high. The learning process is great but the school does not seem to care about any thing else once enrolled you have to deal with the financial difficulties. It is a major rip off. In order to pay for classes this year i have to take one class at a time which causes me to graduate in two years instead of one

Online Courses: I was a little scared about going to a college all online. But here I am a few months away from having my associates degree. This school is the best option for me being a Single Parent with a Special needs child. I can work on my homework on my time at my pace. My advisors are always helpful and have a great line of communication between me and my professors and other students. My only harder than I would like aspect is the group projects. I would prefer to just work on them on my own since in most cases it's just me or me and someone else doing the whole project that 5-7 people will get credit for.

Student Body: Mostly, my school consists of people that don't have the time to go to a traditional college or university. My fellow students are busy parents, people with full-time jobs, or people that have already established a career and choosing to further their education or switch careers.

The school is a wonderful choice for those that want an accredited college degree but have limited mobility and heavy time constraints. The Instructors here are well prepared, enthusiastic, and eager to broaden the minds of their students. At AIU Online, many peers turn into friends, teachers into mentors, and students into scholars.
