4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I was sitting around one day, I enjoyed my job but felt like I wanted more. I signed up to receive information from the U.S. Army and I guess my information was sent out to AIU. I got a call from a student adviser and she reminded me of the importance of a college education. She informed me how easy the process was to get enrolled and get started. The staff set up everything and I got started. There have been those classes that were a pain like Algebra, but I got passed that and now the classes are focused on my major and the information is interesting and exciting. I highly recommend AIU to anyone who is very busy but wants to further their education.

Campus Resources: There are online groups you can join and there is interaction with other students. You can send and accept friend requests from classmates. I have not interacted much personally. The library is online.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Everything about this University is online. The website is easy to navigate and everything is easy to find.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have learned a lot and stayed very interested in the classes I have taken.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors offer great feedback on the quality of your work and focus on the areas that could use work. They do this in a nice manner and do praise the things you do well all while critiquing your work.

College Junior

Facilities: I do not attend a campus I do my school work from home. I have seen pictures of their campuses in Atlanta, Chicago, and Houston and they look to be adequate.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The requirements for each class and assignment are clearly stated in the syllabus.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Career Services offers a lot of helpful information and guidance on preparing to enter the work force with your new degree. I have not done particularly well in taking advantage of the opportunities in that area.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I don't have much interaction outside of group projects and discussion boards. Some people thrive on interaction with other students but I personally benefit from having the alone time and isolation to focus on my work.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I am a very busy individual and attending a campus in person would have been very challenging. I enjoy being able to attend class whenever I desire.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid department is easy to work with and looks out for your best interest. They call or send emails when they need important documents.

AIU Online is enjoyed by students that have a variety of diverse schedules, backgrounds, and career goals. The school is a wonderful choice for those that want an accredited college degree but have limited mobility and heavy time constraints. The Instructors here are well prepared, enthusiastic, and eager to broaden the minds of their students. At AIU Online, many peers turn into friends, teachers into mentors, and students into scholars.
