Campus Resources: There are always events going on for your career interest at the institution, whether you are attending classes online or on campus. I am personally benefiting from doing practice interviews with the Career Services department, I love it. They call me at an appointed time and do phone screen interviews.

Campus Resources: I think that ebooks are not a good for reading the information required for each course. The option of offering a text book would be greatly appreciated.

Academic Experience: So many of the professors are vastly educated in the subjects they teach and they offer more than the book does for the educational experience of the class. The teachers are often willing to explain above and beyond the requirements of the class objectives if you are interested in doing so. Many teachers offer discussion topics beyond the required learning objective, as well, for those who are interested. The academic experience at AIU online can be much more than one would expect from an online environment - it is better than attending a college campus for so many reasons.

Academic Experience: I'm an Accounting major and I've had really good experience with the ease of communicating with the instructors. Like every school, sometimes you encounter an instructor that isn't as friendly or as available as you would like, but for the most part, they are awesome!

Student Body: The student body at AIU is very diverse. There are students right out of high school, parents and grandparents, and people with very different ethnic backgrounds. It's great. You get to chat with your classmates and learn all kinds of things about them. It keeps it interesting. I absolutely love the diversity at my school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that my education is well worth the pay. I have a $52,000 education and financial aid covered half of it, which is great. However, I am a single mother. I have been told multiple times that I should be receiving some kind of aid for that, but I don't think I am. I am out of work right now and worried that if I do not find a job right out of graduation, I'll be in some trouble since I'll have a $26,000 debt to pay. I plan on contacting a financial aid advisor today about it. The only thing that the school should change about financial aid is making it all easier to understand. The financial aid tab is pretty confusing and I do not know what any of it means.

Academic Flexibility: I have been able to change courses at the last minute and easily rearrange my schedule. I probable would had dropped out if it wasn't for my advisor encouraging me to continue and explaining that my GPA allow room for me to have a setback and how I could repair it. My advisr aslo assisted me in taking a leave of absence when my father died and I had to take over as the head of my family and care for my elderly mother with alzheimer' disease and when I personally became seriously ill. Each time I was ready to give up but she helped me through by rectifying my situations positively, encouraging me and never letting me down. She was always there for me!

Academic Experience: My expereinces have been invaluable. I recently completed a course on team building and it allowed me to re-assess myself and change how I engage myself as a member of a team. I honestly feel that I am a better employee as a result of taking this class. It also didn't hurt that I got an "A" so I am still on the Dean's list with a 4.0 GPA. I love this school!!!

Student Body: The majority of the student body at AIU consists of people currently in the work force who are looking for additional education. Low economic standing and cramped schedules are the main reasons for students to attend AIU.

Campus Resources: AIU has an extensive library that contains lots of useful information. The librarians are online to help assist you if you have any questions. There are also lots of online learning labs and tutoring available if you need help with a specific subject.

Campus Resources: My school is completely online however they offer many materials to help get you what you need. There are virtual class sessions that are not required to attend but are very helpful when completeing assignments. There is also a virtual commons where you can get to know other students that attend the university so there is still some contact with your peers. Overall it is great for people who live very full lives and do better managing thier own schedules.

AIU Online is enjoyed by students that have a variety of diverse schedules, backgrounds, and career goals. The school is a wonderful choice for those that want an accredited college degree but have limited mobility and heavy time constraints. The Instructors here are well prepared, enthusiastic, and eager to broaden the minds of their students. At AIU Online, many peers turn into friends, teachers into mentors, and students into scholars.
