Campus Resources: I just started here at this school and so far the resources that I have experienced have been okay, the school does offer different clubs that I can join, and the library and student center is great.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process was very great, they walked me through each step to receive my Aid, and answered any and all questions that I had for them.

Academic Flexibility: Taking classes at American Intercontinental University - Online, is a great experience, I enjoy the flexibility of the classes, the constant communication with the teachers, advisors and financial aid officers. This is my first quarter at this school and it has been a pleasant one so far.

Online Courses: While going High School, I hated it, I never seen myself going back to school. My husband is enrolled at AIU also, as he was talking with his advisor, it hit me, I'll never make anything out of my life if I don't do something now. I told him I want to talk to an advisor and they had me signed up and enrolled that day. I am in my 4th course and I am loving it. The online courses gives the working man or woman, single parent, or a person with health problems a chance to get a degree around their own schedule.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think for the education I am receiving at AIU, the tuition fee is reasonable. I've noticed with financial aid they disburse any money you are due well into the next term. Leaving me to pay out of pocket for supplies needed to get through the course until I receive financial aid. However, the financial aid advisors are very helpful, and are there to help with any questions or help with filling out any financial aid or grants you may need help with.

Student Body: Being online, it would be difficult to provide good data here. The Discussion Boards in classes and the chat sessions at AIU provide connectivity like classroom. I personally have not utilized other social resources that are available to connect with other students, but from Library to other student services, one can communicate, connect, and share with peers.

Online Courses: The experience I am having with AIU online is great so far. I have taken online training before, and the Intellipath feature helps with focused learning. Right from the introductory class, I was impressed with the ability to identify my areas that needed improvement. The repeating of lessons aided me in completing my weekly assignments with confidence.

Campus Resources: Attending AIU as an Online student, I get the virtual campus. It is wonderful! The library is available 24/7 and so are the librarian tours. The virtual commons page is awesome. I have read and heard from many students, being able to read how they feel about school to trying to meet and make new friends online. It is similar to the traditional school experience and it has been really great.

Student Body: Attending AIU has been a great experience. Especially with the diversity in students. We come from all over the world and strive for the same goals attending the college, we all want to graduate and earn the honor of pursuing a higher education.

Academic Flexibility: My class courses at AIU have been really flexible. I am a mother of 3 and the pace of the course is a length of 5 weeks to complete a class. I think its great that I get to take one class for five weeks, and then its done. Then I can start on my next course, by taking two classes that also end in 5 weeks again. Then back to one class. Its been helpful since I am a mother and also need to tend to my kids. I get breaks too. After a completion of courses, they give us 1 week breaks or 2. Its not all the time, but I love the schedule they have assigned me.

Online Courses: Online courses have been heaven for me. I am a mother of 3 and 25 years old. I would strongly recommend this school for parents and working individuals. I have all the time I need to spend with my children and still attend weekly chats and get all assignments in by Sunday. It has been a great experience! I love the fact that the University has tried to make our learning experience similar as the traditional classroom experience. We have weekly chats online and a discussion board thread that gives us students the opportunity to interact with each other, by leaving messages and uploading files and images for the entire class to see and participate.

Academic Experience: I enjoy the major I am pursuing. The program courses that I have taken are really great and very understanding. I mean, I graduated in 2006, and only now decided to go back for higher education, and its been an awesome experience...for me and for my children. The left-over money that helps pay for my education is disbursed to me and it has helped me pay some bills at home as well. The workload is not a load at all. The assignments are due every Sunday only. And there is online help 24/7 for anything I might need help with, its great. I have received so much emails from the University regarding internship and Job opportunities, but I am still maintaining focus on my program courses but I do intend on attending the sessions soon.

Academic Experience: The Professors at the University are great! I get to chat with them when I need help and also the weekly live chat discussion with my classmates have been really awesome. It feels so engaging and the first time I attended the weekly class chat I was amazed at all the other individuals who were in my class course. They come from all over the world and I find that wonderful, being able to meet and mingle with a variety of ethnicity's.

Career Services: I honestly am not too familiar w/ the post-grad services here at AIU. I plan on finding out though.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I love how the left-over money from my student loans and other fees get sent to me in disbursements. It really motivates me to keep doing homework, and pushing me to not just succeed but to NOT fail. I look forward to turning in my assignments because the disbursements come every other month...so I always have something to look forward to, like a reward for completing assignments, even if it is my own money.

AIU Online is enjoyed by students that have a variety of diverse schedules, backgrounds, and career goals. The school is a wonderful choice for those that want an accredited college degree but have limited mobility and heavy time constraints. The Instructors here are well prepared, enthusiastic, and eager to broaden the minds of their students. At AIU Online, many peers turn into friends, teachers into mentors, and students into scholars.
