3 College Junior

Overall Experience: My favorite experiences are being in Dr.Boyd classes because she bring special guest to tell us about the fashion industry.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I would for the students to recieve lab tops to take home, the fashion students there need better equipment for sowing, and need to go to others countries such as Milan to learn the history of fashion.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: I don't like my online class I perfer on campus classes. My online teachers give us alot of work, don't explan what we are doing, when I email them it's hard for me to get an answer at a timely manner, and I'm always failing because I don't know what i'm doing

Academic Flexibility: My teachers are very flexible I can call them, email them or contact them through social media and I always get an responds from them. The academic people are hard to contact and somtimes i get fraustrated with them.

2 College Junior

Career Services: The career coach the I had no longer works there so I have no one to go for advice for my next career path. I would love to talk to someone so I can be prepared to look for work when I graduate.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The resources there are great; we do not have an athletic center but I can go to the student center anytime I want and I can have a good time.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: We have great computer labs because it's quite, however the connection is slow and the color printer are never working correctly.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I love studying fashion at my school we go on field lessons, learn about different techniques, and the teachers are some of the best in thier profession.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I really do not like the online class because the online teacher for fashion do not grade on time, she hardly responds to email, and sometime I don't understand the assigment that are given. The on campus classes are great, my favorite teacher there is Dr. Boyd she helps me think outside the box, she challenge my creativity, and we get hands on assigments.

Student Body: The student body at my school are mostly African Americans, they listen to hip-hop, and alot of them are interested in the arts such as fashion, media production, and film.

5 College Freshman

Career Services: I have seen the career resource center, and there are job listings and career growth forecasts.

Student Body: The demography of the school is not diverse. I am a part of the majority at this school, so I feel a sense of belonging and acceptance.

College Freshman

Academic Experience: I'm an incoming student and have yet to start classes, but I believe it will be great.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It's one of the few schools offering my major.

Facilities: Art studio, gallery, and display of student work.

Campus Resources: This campus is geared towards the more business savvy or conventional student. There's not a lot of distractions at the school as most students who attend AIU are there for a common goal which is to finish school quickly and start their careers. Most of the program or associations at the campus are career driven or oriented. The library is very accessible and their are student run organizations or organizations started by the school that allow the students to lead the association. There are plenty of campus events and activities that take place that allow for enjoyment at the school, but there are no greek letters and etc at the campus. We have a great student center and activities board.

Student Body: Overall most students are very helpful. Depending on the time of day that you chose to go to classes may also determine your outlook with the student body. I have noticed that during the mid-day or evening courses you have more serious and focused students due to their maturity level and business sense. While the morning or early day courses tend to have more of the high school student mentality that causes conflicts when it comes to group projects or presentations.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I took a break from AIU so I am not sure how the career center operates now; but I do know that before I felt as if they didn't help me much in achieving a goal or gaining a position for employment. They may have changed, but until I see it I think a C if not lower may be more sufficient. However I am willing to change this if they have improved since my last enrollment at the university.

Academic Flexibility: I ultimately chose this school because of the flexibility of scheduling and the courses that are offered. I like the flow of classes and the ease of understanding what is being taught. Other schools you may be a great student, but still do not understand the subject at hand due to the ineffectiveness of teaching methods. AIU methods seem to help even the most lower level participant learn new skills. The length of time that it will take me to complete the program outweighs the cons.

Campus Resources: The facilities on my campus are great. The library is perfect for checking out some neat books. Whether you want to catch up on your reading or researching a certain topic or person. Plus the campus has a cafe for students so if you are hungry you could always between classes get yourself some nutritious food .

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The main site that everyone at my school uses is the student portal . I don't like how the computer network runs slow. If there are issues with the portal though my teacher says to take a screen shot and send it via email. Overall it can be fustrating but you will be able to use your portal you would just have to wait a little .

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: My school has a tutoring program held at the library. It doesn't matter the time if you needed help in any subject there would be someone happy to help you. I remember I needed help on an essay I was writing and I stopped by to see if anyone could help me with my paper. They gave me tips on how it could be better and I ended up getting an A plus !

4 College Junior

Student Body: My school makes up a population of people who want to get ahead in life. Many of the students at my school are not only social but know how to balance fun and school work. With a variety of programs to choose from and the different types of degrees I'd say my school was a good one. There seems to be new students every other month . Students at my school learn new things and seem to enjoy it at the same time.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There is not a lot of flexibility when it comes to scheduling classes. There are some classes that are offered only online and the ones offered on campus can vary greatly depending on the class. I need to take an accounting class that's only offered at night or online so I had to forfeit that class until next quarter. Class flexibility could be better!
