Academic Experience: I don't know what the people that own ACC where thinking they let go of so many good teachers to remodel the buildings! So they had to hire knew teachers, and the new teachers didn't know how the system worked so they enter the wrong grades. they are nice teachers but they didn't know what they were doing.

Career Services: I work really hard for this grade, I was not expecting such a language barrier when i enter ACC; most of them know better English than I do. I study the words that i dont understand, but is hard to keep up with all of them. Spanish is my first language. I do very well in math though.

Campus Resources: they do little things to show that they care. they give you little insentives to keep you going to reach your goal

College Senior

Online Courses: I am attending the school and not doing online work.

Campus Resources: Sometimes when i want to go pay my monthly fee, their isnt much help.and most of the time their is only one person doing all the transactions and their is a line. I really would like their to be online payments. I called their hotline but they just directed me to the school which didnt help that much. they recently made a small library.

Academic Experience: Every module we need to do four hours of clinicals. Where we need to go to an office and shadow the dental assistants. The next time we are their we might clean the rooms, and so on. You get to work on real patients and
get certified on x-ray, sealants, CPR, and more. I really enjoy dental. You do have tests every week and not that much homework. Sometimes it may seem overwhelming but at the end of the day it all pays off.

Campus Resources: Teachers and other staff very helpful. they have internet access and a computer lap where you can feel free to work on any assignments. im in the dental assistant program which it requires very little of computer work. I am almost graduating and so far i have loved my teacher and the work we do in lab. its a lot of hands on and I am hoping everything i learned, I will be able to apply to field.

Student Body: The school is very divers from and range of ages to and range of races there is not one dominate group. Everyone is focused one hook and will to help you out.

College Senior

Campus Resources: the computers are not up yet do to the reconstrution

College Senior

Academic Experience: Dental Assistent Program – the classes are hands on and work with you on what ever you need. im excited to start and learn more about teeth.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The curriculum is straight forward and to the point. It is all mapped out for you in a booklet called the curriculum so that you will know what will be discussed in class aswell as to what to expect on the tests. Along with the curriculum there is the syllabus that concurs with the curriculum, taking you through each class day with an explaination of what will be discussed and done in class.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I attend the part-time course and the time is so befitting. Class is held on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights. This schedule still allows me to take care of personal business throughout the week and still advance in my learning. There is no other school with this schedule which is what sets my school apart from every other school.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is a small library and two small computer labs but they are often taken by students preparing for NCLEX and locked to regular students. It is not unusual to have our regular classroom moved because it is needed for some administrative function. The classrooms are sizrd well but the offices could use more space. The site is spread between 3 buildings that are several blocks apart so getting back and forth can be a challenge sometimes.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Sometimes Inconsistent – For the most part, my curriculum is on target but the teaching methods are a little too broad, in my opinion. Teachers from one term to another have very different styles and sometimes the information we are given is deemed to be incorrect once we get to the next term. Some teachers are very methodical and others are very scattered,

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: the facilities are'nt bad because they have lots of resources to help us students with what we need as for the computer lab

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: Nothing Tranferred – the main reason why i chose this school was they were really friendly also they are willing to help me out and to succeed for my future

3 College Junior

Student Body: we vary in age, and i feel that most people very oriented and want to be here but that there are others who are wasting my time and theirs.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: American Career Is Personal – i love this school because of how personal it is and because of everything that they give to you! it is expensive, but worth it.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: the process is great for financial aid they have an entire office for that purpose, however i did not recieve aid and i am paying for myself. because i am under 24 my dads info had to be on the application. The tuition is 33,000 dollars, so i will be paying for a long time.
