5 College Student

Student Body at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Los Angeles: The students at my school create a safe and warm environment that allows us to excel in our studies. There is no competition, although we are all working toward the same goal. There are so many international students and local students from all over southern California learning from each other and teaching each other in order to grow strong together. We explore intimate themes and ideas that would otherwise be put at halt if we didn't share respect or value our fellow classmates. The tuition of our school is difficult to obtain, but the curriculum covers so much I think it may even be cheaper than studying acting on your own. The school provides many resources and guidance and even showcases the senior class to people in show business.

4 College Senior

Student Body at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: My class sizes ranged from 14-16 students. In total, we had about 110 students in the first year and it is expected that we will have fewer this year. The size of the Student body is great. Small, but thats something I personally like.

3 College Senior

Student Body at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: The Academy mostly consists of international students. The students population is diverse in terms of location. There are students from L.A to Florida, students from Canada to Sweden etc. There is ethnic diversity, but the majority look Caucasian. The school has many people who are different religions, political views and sexual orientation.
The Academy consists of both middle working class and of the wealthy (you only notice if someone mentions it). It's easy to connect since everyone at the Academy has a single mine frame, to be something in the arts. It's very easy to connect but also very easy to be anti-social just due to the Academic work load and now with the Academy House, the residents bond with each other approx. a month before school even starts.
At the end of the day, it's about going to class and learning. This is not to say that with the melting pot, issues don't arise. But it's dealt with and acknowledged outside the class room. When in class, you are there to perform at your best and learn as much as you can. Everything else is asked and expected to be left outside the door.

Student Body at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: The groups are different, yet at the same time very similar. They could have more diverse groups. It seems that the people at AADA all come from similar social status'.
