Overall Experience at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Los Angeles: First of, my audition process was the most comfortable experience in my life. I fell in love with my evaluator. She knows that we will be facing dreadful auditions for years to come and saw no reason to make the auction any scarier than it should be. The instructors give 100% of their energy and knowledge to see us grow as stronger performers and people.

Tuition & Financial Aid at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Los Angeles: It is really pricey, but you get so much out of it. They have small intimate classes so you will get attention from the instructor, they have a library on campus so you don't have to go and buy a book, they also offer work on campus to help pay for your tuition. To have a chance to more aid, they suggest to fill in the FAFSA as soon as possible and then their scholarship application.

Student Body at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Los Angeles: The students at my school create a safe and warm environment that allows us to excel in our studies. There is no competition, although we are all working toward the same goal. There are so many international students and local students from all over southern California learning from each other and teaching each other in order to grow strong together. We explore intimate themes and ideas that would otherwise be put at halt if we didn't share respect or value our fellow classmates. The tuition of our school is difficult to obtain, but the curriculum covers so much I think it may even be cheaper than studying acting on your own. The school provides many resources and guidance and even showcases the senior class to people in show business.

Student Body at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: My class sizes ranged from 14-16 students. In total, we had about 110 students in the first year and it is expected that we will have fewer this year. The size of the Student body is great. Small, but thats something I personally like.

Academic Flexibility at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: The Academy has a fixed curriculum, so we didn't get to pick any classes the first year. Certain classes changed each semester as well as the class times, which, on occasion, completely changed scheduling things outside of school. However, you can mention your work schedule and they will do their best to work with you.

Career Services at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: The Academy does provide on site jobs and allows the majority of students to work outside of school. However, a good number of on site jobs go to foreign students, because of international work laws.

Academic Experience at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: I have learned a great deal about theater/film. As well as the business, diversity, and expectations that go with this career. They through a lot of things at me in nine months, which at times became a little overwhelming, but it all made sense and became very practical after applying it in real life situations, which they provided with their exam plays.

Campus Resources at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - New York: I like the availability of the studios to work on choreography. The dorm are within the community which is very quiet, that makes you feel as if you are part of the community without having a campus feel.

Tuition & Financial Aid at American Academy of Dramatic Arts - Los Angeles: I like the fact that I was automatically granted need base, honors, and merit scholarships. Yet even so, there is still so much tuition to pay off in addition to my living expenses. It makes it almost impossible for me to afford to attend the school. I wish the school was cheaper or offered a greater amount of money in the scholarships. With the school being so expensive, I just hope my education is worth all the money being paid.
