I didn't had a lot of experience in the class, but the experiences I already had with the teachers were great
I chose this school because it provided pretty much all the possible help I can find. and they are flexible with helping out with my schedules. my schedules don't interfere with my lifestyle and that's a plus. when it comes to transferring my credits they were willing to help out with everything I needed.
The Academy has a fixed curriculum, so we didn't get to pick any classes the first year. Certain classes changed each semester as well as the class times, which, on occasion, completely changed scheduling things outside of school. However, you can mention your work schedule and they will do their best to work with you.
The Academy can be accommodating, but it comes with very strict guidelines. Most classes start at 8 or 9 am and the last class can end at 10 (although I personally don't know). Since there is a small population of students to begin with, every class you have are with the same people. The Academy matches with people who share your strengths and weakness for your first year. If you work, tell them and they will do there best to accommodate you, however know that you can only work a certain amount of hours a week do to the vigorous work load. School will take up most, if not all, your time and even after class is over, the work doesn't stop. There are after-school rehearsals with cast mates and homework.
It's been fairly easy for me since I decided not to work during my first year, wanting to focus solely on school. Students who did work, made it happen, but they were exhausted and didn't have any room for schedule changes. (The Academy cannot change your schedule during the middle of the school year. You start and end each semester with the same schedule. Schedule changes with each semester.) Students who made a living as an actor already, and decided to study with the Academy had a hard time finding work due to time consuming schedule.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
