Online Courses: I've had a great and horrible online class experience. My first full online class was an English class and it was really great. I liked how easy it was to keep track of my assignments. My last two online classes however where very hard to keep up with and I ended up dropping one of them. I've decided not to take another online course after that semester.

Academic Experience: I was originally a Secondary Education major but after discovering the major doesn't exist at the school I'm transferring to I had to change my major to Mathematics. So far it's been a good experience, but I don't know much about Amarillo College's Mathematics department.

Academic Flexibility: The school has a great flexibility with my work schedule and family responsibilities. I wasn't able to take one class I wanted to take though which was very disappointing.

Academic Experience: I wish the college had a wider variety of degree plans.

Campus Resources: The professors at this college are willing to go the extra mile for their students if they see that a specific student is trying. They have a variety of instructors that all have unique teaching patterns. They strive the help the student body succeed. I think this college is a wonderful place to start.

Campus Resources: I have very rarely had an issue with the network or connection at AC.

Campus Resources: The resources that are needed are available to the student body.

Campus Resources: The libraries are awesome, clean and quiet. The staff are very helpful.

Campus Resources: There is a great program for nursing student or any Health Science Studies. It's Student Support Services and it provides quiet rooms for studying, free printing, and free tutoring. The gym at Amarillo College has quite a few treadmills but needs more free weights.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Amarillo College is very affordable so it is easier for me to pay as I go. I was young and naive when I first started college so I blew off classes and signed up just to stay on my parents insurance. However 5 years later and an adult I was turned down for any financial aid or grants due to too many credits.

Academic Flexibility: I chose Amarillo College because it fit into my schedule. I can chose to take my classes online or in the classroom. I have a small child and I can take morning classes while he is at daycare. I also love how easy it is to talk to the teachers. There aren't as many students at Amarillo College so it is easy to just walk in and get extra tutoring from your instructors.

Academic Experience: The professors are so involved with the students they provide you with all the help you can get and are so understanding over the students life and workload. The different tutoring centers you have all around campus helps you in you're academic excellence. The registration process is amazingly easy and organized they help you every step of the way and are there with you until you are registered and ready to go.

Online Courses: I was very opposed in taking online classes but when my schedule got harder to manage I had no choice in taking one. I was a little nervous at first but when i logged in i noticed that it was not what i expected. The instructor was always available for questions and the regular discussion post we had made it so easy to interact with my fellow classmates. I learned a lot from the class and loved the way it was organized

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I'm getting and the help of instructors is well worth the money I'm paying. I am not eligible for financial aid but I'm fine with all the expenses because they provide so much attention and so much help that its impossible for a student not to be successful. The fees and tuition are well known and explained to you with detail.

Academic Flexibility: This school is the best at understanding and managing hard schedules. I'm not only able to work but i also have a social life thanks to the flexible schedules they provide for us. I am currently transferring to another university and all my credits have been transferred without any difficulty.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer network at AC is fast and excellent i always have WiFi for my personal computer and there's plenty of computers available to students and printing is only ten cents per page.

College Junior

Online Courses: as far as just communicating with teacher and taking tests i haven't had an online class

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition fees are very reasonable to me. Before AC i went to a university and tuition is outrageous compared to what I'm paying now. I finally qualify for financial aid but I'm still falling short on taking care of educational costs. I've talked to financial aid but as far as what i qualified for there is nothing else they can offer, i just wish there was something for the students who come from low income to help get trough school easier.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: AC receives an A from me, its small enough that your instructors know you by name and you receive the one on one help you need and big enough there is diverse cultures and plenty of new faces to get to know.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Its a tight ship with hard work and requires more dedication than the prereqs. Lots of hours and clinicals but it will be well worth it in the end

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is filled with people from ages 18 to 70. Very diverse and plenty of cultural diversity.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: I have only taken a few online classes but I would rather drive to school and attend a class. I feel I learn better that way and its more hands on than trying to figure everything out on your own.
