3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I would say they are very flexible with the adult services program as well as the disability services work with people of any type of disability to help them through college

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer access is everywhere and internet is fast as well as free or inexpensive printing throughout the campus

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are student services and activities but not readily available information on them.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this college because they had my specific major available to achieve completely online. There is only one class that is a hybrid, and I only have to go to the actual campus three times in the semester.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Taking the online courses is almost like being in the actual classroom! The professor makes sure the objective are clear and are there for me if I have any questions.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The best tip to get financial aid at my school is just to apply with the website at fasfa.gov and then check with financial aid to see what else is needed to reseve fasfa.

Academic Experience: I thank God that I am attending this college, which is Amarillo College. It is cheap, close to home, the classes are small, and to top it all of the teachers are great. The teachers really work with each student, and they give them the opportunity to learn in a way that they understand. So I say it again I thank God that I am attending this school.

Student Body: I wish college had a dress code, because there are girl's that need it. I don't want to see anyone's underpants, don't understand why they have to wear a black bra under a white shirt, and why they think short shorts were their butt checks can be seen are the in thing.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I choose this school because I am new to Amarillo and they have a wonderful nursing program. The staff have been helpful and understanding about my needs. I attended a trade school before coming to AC and was not happy with my education.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I am doing Amarillo College 100% online! and it has been very convenient to balance my school with the rest of my life!

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Everything I have taken online has worked really well, and I have learned a lot, but I wish the professors were more professional online. Some of my professors, however, have been very personable and I feel as though they are interested in me.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The school provides a lot of tutoring for all of the different departments. It's really great to know that if I'm struggling in a class I can go to free tutoring sessions.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I've had a great and horrible online class experience. My first full online class was an English class and it was really great. I liked how easy it was to keep track of my assignments. My last two online classes however where very hard to keep up with and I ended up dropping one of them. I've decided not to take another online course after that semester.
