3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: they dont just give out the wifi password, instead you have to go through the lab in order to get them to give it you.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: everything is widely available to anyone and everyone when you need it

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: so far i have had great teachers and cant complain about their teaching methods.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: this is a great community school to attend. As the courses get more tough, the work load becomes a little heavier.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: ACC is fast about financial aid and the advisors get back to the students as soon as possible about any questions. very helpful

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It has some of the best facilities and labs. They even rival what I have seen at bigger universities. I do not feel like I am missing out when I step into the mock E.R. or into the simulation labs. The workload is tough but you actually learn something. The nursing program itself holds some prestige so when applying to RN-BSN programs the local programs will take notice because they know of the professors and the level of education that you receive.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There are some great continuing education programs.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I haven't really used it much. But I have heard good things

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any issues!

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The sciences and health sciences building is the newest but has the best labs and simulation classrooms! Excellent!

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: They have made it super easy now that they have upgraded... It had a few bugs at first but really seems easy to use.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I have no problem with the network at school. There are plenty of computer labs to pop in to. And the WIFI works great in almost every corner of the campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: They could definitely use some renovations to the campus grounds and library!

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Its very diverse. There are students from all walks of like and from all over the world who go to school here.

Campus Resources: At Alvin Community College, there is no need for a student to have to use their own personal computer or printer. We have several computer labs with many computers available on campus for student access in various buildings. We can even get the internet wifi connection added onto our personal laptop.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: We have a large library for our campus size, and many computer labs available. I have never had to wait for a computer to open up. We have a great gym at our school which even has a basketball court, and a 2 mile outside track available to the public and to students!

Overall Experience: If I had to, I would definitely, and without a doubt, choose my college again. It has been such a blessing to me since I started last fall. I have met such wonderful people, and I am learning something new everyday. My school has one of the best mascots: the fighting dolphin, Blue!

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am currently enrolled in my school's Court Reporting Program. My college actually ranks as the second best court reporting school in the U.S. The teachers all have experience as being working reporters, and truly care about every student in the program. They want us to succeed. I love my major because I know I will be able to find work as soon as I graduate and pass the State Board's Exam.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Our college offers a variety of degrees. This is my fourth semester at ACC and every professor I have had has impacted my life in some way, shape, or form. The classroom size is smaller than a University, and I believe that is an advantage: the teacher to student ratio. I have more one-on-one time with the professor.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Our school's study body is heavily diverse. We have all races at our school, different religious backgrounds, we even have International students from different countries! How cool is that? We actually featured our International students on our ACC website! We have many groups at school for different religions, views, and values people may have.

5 College Junior

Facilities: I had the opportunity this semester at my school to be an Ambassador. Being an Ambassador, representing the school, and volunteering and working events on and off campus has given me the chance to see all the wonderful programs that exist at my school I had never known about before.
