5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I included my review in the first question. However I will reiterate how committed Allied Health Institute is to their students. Their programs are challenging and very fast paced, and therefore require a lot of discipline, attention to detail, and consistent attendance. It is unlike any other online format I've seen, your attendance still counts towards your overall grade and it is a great motivating factor to log in everyday and complete your assignments section-by-section. As opposed to waiting until the day before your deadline and stressing yourself out. If you are willing and dedicated, you will learn a lot at this school.

Facilities: This is primarily an online school, they have a campus based in Plantation, FL.

Academic Flexibility: If you maintain open communication with the staff they will usually accommodate your needs (I.e. if you worked a lot and need another day to send an assignment)

Career Services: They offer letters of reference, mock interviews, resume services, and even send your resume to employers and schedule interviews for you. My advisor is Kendra Phillips and she has been fantastic.

Online Courses: There are power point lectures twice per week. You can attend them live and interact with your classmates/professor or even watch it later if you have work. Professors also respond to email very quickly (within 12 hours from my experience).

Student Body: Very supportive, there's a great sense of community even though your courses are only four weeks long.

Academic Experience: Allied Health is 100% student-focused. From admissions, to financial aid, to every single professor you work with. The tuition is reasonable and includes national certification exams depending on your field. I graduated from the Medical Billing/Coding program and although it was incredibly tough (I was also working 50 hrs/week), my academic advisor and professors were there to address every question or concern I had. I even had their cell phone and could shoot a text when there wasn't time for a conversation. The lectures are informative, the student atmosphere is very supportive, and their career services department are relentless and won't stop until you are working in your field. I am preparing to return for my Associate in Healthcare Management and can't wait to get back in the mix of things. If you're on the fence about this school, pull the trigger. AHI is a hidden gem and you'll be hard-pressed to find a program online that offers such a flexible and organized approach to the Healthcare Industry.

Online Courses: The online experience allows for more opportunity to work on and submit class at your own pace and time. Although their is a time limit as to when one is to have all things for the week turned in, it helps to keep the student engaged and working on assignments without allowing too much time to pass. There is still access to lectures and help tools added by instructor, not to mention all time access to instructors via phone, email, or online by way of tutor like areas for students. Interaction with other students is encouraged but not stressed, which makes the process a little easier. Also, even though the classes are online, one can still tell that the instructors are completely into their occupations and areas of expertese.

Overall Experience: Its the best. As far as online schools go, this is a top ten. Not only would i choose this school again, but i currently recommend others to look into it, and i am going back to take more classes. I chose to expand my knowledge

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process was seemingly easy and pretty straight forward. However, i wish the aid dept. proceeded to assist me with additional funding options and scholarship/ grant searches and application. I

Student Body: The student body from my experience has been diverse with ethnicity and backgrounds. There are those of which have never studied or worked in healthcare and those that are already longtime healthcare professionals that are seeking to further their education. You have working parents with limited work/ online school time and students still living with their parents.

Facilities: It is both online and campus education. I have only had the privilege to experience the online education aspects of this institute, but i am very satisfied so far. This has been the only educational experience that i have been excited for, and whole heartily determined to complete satisfactorily and completely. On top of that, this was the first institution to present me with an award for academia.

Academic Experience: As of right now i only have experience being one major and not the one that i am going back for. The experience with that has been better than i expected but less rewarding. Although i feel i have a better insight to one aspect of my major than others might, others also have training on doing my field of study. One majorly unique aspect of the EKG program is that it can be completed in roughly 6 months. This is one of the shortest courses offered, anywhere. The internship opportunity was an amazing and very rewarding and educational experience.

Academic Experience: The professors are very knowledgeable in their fields and maintain a working career in said field of teaching, so they have real world and current experiences and examples to share during live/ recorded lectures. The curriculum offered entails everything relevant to ones subject of learning and allows one to gain a further grasp and understanding of the subject slightly easier and with more detail.

Career Services: The job prospects of a few degrees/ certificates may be a slightly low, but for the most part the job outlook for the education offered is sound. With both negative and positive statements said, the career services department for AHI is top notch, dedicated, and hardworking. They did most of the leg work when it came to creating, polishing and then circulating a resume. Not to mention the aid in locating/ searching for prospective jobs that match my new knowledge and skills.

Academic Flexibility: I take classes online and my experience has been nothing short of convenient and pleasing. My instructors work to try to make everything revolve around the collected student groups schedules. Most instructors offer make up work or additional days/ times to complete an assignment. This was my first time being able to transfer credits to another school and it only took two emails, two faxes, and one online registration and request process.

Campus Resources: I am currently attending online and have not used any labs or on-campus services

Online Courses: Everything about my new college is the best. I like it and would love to return back. The professors are amazing.

5 College Senior

Facilities: They work with the students and they explain there information better. At my old school the teachers would make the students feel not smart, it was more towards the Medical Assistant students. But the teacher didn't teach the class like he was suppose to.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: So far so good. They are helpful as they can get.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I would like to be in RN. But I have to do it slowly because I wouldn't have the money for the schools.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: It;s all easy. You can just fax them and they keep in close contact with there students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's actually a little bit cheaper then my old school. This school is the best I've gone to so far.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: They break down the information easily for the students to understand from.l
